Hey guys... i was kinda bored last night (well is this morning 04:55 am

) ... so i made this .... An Archlord Tutorial...wich is webzen updated... some of you may find this helpful, others... will laugh... and start flaming this thread ( but i love them so i dont care

)
and yes i know its a long one but imagine to search 123123 forums to find infos about that and about that and about that... here you get almost all in 1 with short/long description of things...
btw... there are no parts or stuff... till i get time to reorder it and make it better and add new things ...this is how is gonna be :
so here it is :
The basic currency in Archlord is gold. There is a currency you can buy with real money called Chantra, where you can go into the Chantra Shop and buy items that cannot be dropped by monsters or be bought from merchants.
These controls and hotkeys are set by default. If you wish to change them, you may do so in the game menu (press ESC when logged in to the game) and select Custom Keys.
Hotkeys:
I - Open your inventory. You have 4 bags with 16 slots each, allowing you to hold 64 items total.
C - Open your character window. Here, you can see your character stats, experience, and equipment.
Q - Open your quest log. Only your active quests are displayed here.
U - Open your mailbox. You need to buy letter paper from a <Merchant> in order to send mail.
G - Open your guild window. As a regular member, you should be able to see who's currently online and what level everyone is.
K - Open your skills window. Skills are acquired through a <Trainer> according to your character's class.
J - Open your craft skills window. Craft skills are alternate skills including Ransacking, Skinning, Carving, Cooking, and Alchemy. These can be learned from an <Adventurer>, a <Cook>, and an <Alchemist>.
P - Open the party window. Here, you can invite someone to a party and change party options.
F - Open the friends window. You can add people to your friend's list and see where they are located.
M - Open the World Map. if you are in a town, the Town Map is displayed instead.
1 - Use a Health potion.
2 - Use a Mana potion.
3/4/5/6/7/8/9/0/-/= - Skill hotkeys.
Tab - Target nearest monster.
Spacebar - Automatically pick up the nearest item.
Alt - Toggles on/off item names on the ground.
R - Automatically set the chatbar to reply to the last person that whispered you.
Important basic controls:
* Double clicking a monster will automatically attack them. Alternatively, selecting a monster and pressing 3 will also attack them.
* Holding Control (Ctrl) and double clicking a player will enable PK mode and attack the corresponding player. However, killing someone over 4 levels under you if you initiated the first attack will net a Rogue Point. Rogue Points are bad.
* You can use the mouse to move, or you can use the WASD keys to move. The arrow keys (quickly) turn the camera.
* Holding the right mouse button will allow you to move the camera manually.
* Double clicking with the right mouse button will allow you to move to the target spot. This is especially helpful if you use the mouse to move and you're traveling through a highly monster-infested area. This way, you don't accidentally attack a monster.
* On the left side of your HP and MP bar are two arrows. If you slide these over to the right, a HP or MP potion will automatically be used once your HP or MP drops below the arrow. Thanks to Special for pointing this out to me.
* Dragging a Magic Stone or a Prayer Stone to an unequipped piece of equipment will attempt to socket the respective Stone into the item. You will lose the Stone if it fails, but not the item.
Basic Chat Protocols:
No /command - Normal chat.
/s - Shout. People within a certain radius will hear you.
/w - Whisper. Send a private message to someone with /w charactername.
/p - Party. Send a message to your party members.
/g - Guild. Send a message to your guild members.
The Auction House:
The best way to get better equipment, and to sell some equipment you don't need, is the Auction House. Here, often times, commonly found items are sold cheaper than a regular weapons or armor merchant would sell them for. It is also a great way to acquire rare/unique armor and weapons.
It is usually best to check the Auction House to see the average price a piece of equipment or an item sells for. Obviously, if you want to try and sell something quickly, you'll sell it for less than the lowest price. Remember, not everything can be listed in the Auction House.
To list an item in the Auction House, open your Inventory, click the Sell button in the lower right corner, and drag anything you wish to sell in the window that pops up. If you drag a bulk set into the window, the price you set will be for the entire bulk, not for each individual item in that bulk.
Equipment:
There are 5 types of equipment, and they all come in different color-codes for easy identification:
Normal - WHITE
Rare - YELLOW
Unique - BRONZE
Elite - PURPLE
Combination - GREEN
New Realms Armors = GREEN
Each piece of equipment is spawned with a random number of sockets, ranging from 1 to 8. All amulets and rings are spawned with 1 socket. All Magic Stones can be placed into these sockets, and there are certain Prayer Stones that can only be placed into certain pieces of equipment.
Stones:
There are 5 Magic Stones in 5 levels, and a multitude of Prayer Stones. As far as the Magic Stones go, they have Fire, Water, Soil, Wind, and Magic. Fire and Water oppose each other, Wind and Soil oppose each other, and Magic opposes everything. The higher level of the Magic Stone, the greater its effect.
If a Magic Stone is socketed into a weapon, it adds elemental damage corresponding to the stone. If a Magic Stone is socketed into an armor, it adds elemental resistance corresponding to the stone.
A Prayer Stone can only be put into a certain piece of equipment and has a specific effect, which is stated in its properties.
Parties:
There is a somewhat unique party system in Archlord. Every member in the party gets a bonus depending on the class of the party leader, and each member gets an exp bonus when they are near other party members. On top of that, they have a varying looting system and exp share system:
Loot:
* Contribution (also called "Autoloot" or "AL") - You get items from a monster depending on how much you damage it in comparison to others. if you were the only one to fight the monster, you automatically get all of its drops.
* Round Robin - This automatically splits drops between party members in a random fashion.
* Free For All - This lets items fall to the ground as normal, allowing anyone to grab them.
Experience:
* Contribution - Same as above. The more you damage the monster, the more exp you'll get. If you didn't damage the monster on this setting, you only get 1 exp.
* Level Share - This will split exp among party members based on their level.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leveling and stuff :
So first of all you will have to chose an character u want to play

in Archlord there are 3 races (Human/Orcs/Moonelfs) eac race have 3 classes : HUMAN: Knight, Archer, Mage. ORCS : Berserker, Hunter, Sorcerer. MOONELFS: Swashbuckler, Ranger, Elementalist. You will have to chose 1 class from those... like in all games..all classes have advantages and disadvantages.
Here is a short brief of the classes :
Human Knight : Best Defence/Hp Class

with good attaks , good criticals (depends of lvl) , they are awesome in tanking others in pvp... also killing them (depending on your build)
Human Archer: A class that has awesome Casting time... and awesome debuffs...can slow to -100% ur character and can make lot of dmg casting skills in almost no time

... also they got high speed and very good skill block (for pvp)
Human Mage : Well is a mage...you all kno what mages do... casting skills... and stuff

... her debuffs are awesome too ...specially the lvl 71 one wich in my opinion is the most awesome debuff

(Antimagic) wich can debuff you up to 8 skills

... also they can slow mobs alot and do fast lvl
Orc Berserker: Well like in their description too... Perfect warriors

... high attak damage... high criticals after lvl 67 (when u get 2nd skill for critical) ... and also good Skillblock... their buff called Vital charge is awesome in PVP/PVE meaning that u can get hp from the dmg u absorb on you
Orc Hunter : Best Dodge/Evade/Ele Resistance in game

meaning that you get a lot of defence... and also they can tank pretty much as knights do... but hunters can attak from distance and also slow the mobs

... not so great attak...but again if you kno to build your char right and have the right accesories... you can deal good attak damage too
Orc Sorcerer: I will say the easiest class to lvl or farm ... again awesome casting time like archers...they attak from distance too ...they can slow to 100% the mobs... and they can be good in pvp too, having their specially buff called "Halt" wich can make ur victim to stop attaking you for some time (depends of the lvl of skill) while u can attak him and most of the time kill them ^^ coz Sorcerers can cast many skills in no time like archers and deal pretty much damage
MoonElf Swashbuckler : Same like Knight / Berserker is a warrior class... who cant attak from distance... but can have awesome attak or defense

.... so this class is pretty new and i didnt tryed yet..but from what i heared..they got good dodge/evade and nice criticals...
MoonElf Ranger : A ranged class like archer/hunter... but from Moonelfs

... this class can have the best fortitude ( resistance) in game... up to 80%

... wich means they can tank mobs / players pretty good... in pve they are good too .. having 2 slow skills... and an awesome speed... also can do critical hits from distance

and invisibility skills
MoonElf Elementalist: The cutest class in game ?

Yea possible... this class is based most of the time on summons (specially in pvps) ... they got some pretty skills too... and can lvl pretty good...
Thats it with the classes intruduction

Now after you chosed ur class is time for lvl
...
You will first be a lvl 1 ...now go outside of your village (depending of your race) and start killing the mobs 1 by 1 usually the lvl 1 mobs till u get lvl 2/3/4 ... after u made lvl 4 go back to town ..and sell to merchant the not good stuff (wich means normal items with white names..) others stuff that are for your class you can keep them to use them or use them later depending of their lvls of use...
After u got lvl 4... go on and lvl to higher mobs down the map too

..at lvl 7 u can wear a rare armor and at lvl 8 u can wear rare weapon so you can go back in village and look at item trader what other players put on sell maybe u find one good to buy..if not well continue with what u have till higher lvl...
After u go after lvl 10 well.. u get the first AOE skill ... now let me tell you what AOE is... AOE = Area Of Effect .. in our case the Area Of Effect of skill

these AoE skills are important for your lvl-ing... coz many ppl after lvl 10 still kill 1 by 1 mobs... while now you can use the new skill (wich u learn it from your trainer in the village at lvl 10) .. and can kill more mobs then 1.. depending of your hp and defence and also of what armor/weapon you use

... i suggest 3-4 mobs > 1 aoe hit > run >again 1 aoe hit > run ... and do the same till they die
Now u made lvl 11

...Go in village to item trader and if u didnt droped any unique weapon till that time for lvl 1 (your class) then if you afford... you should buy one...
0/7 or 0/8 is the best are the best weapons to chose (coz you can put more stones into them) , 0/6 or 0/5 are fine too...
Now the green stats :
Damage 20+ or something almost there
3% chances to stun or more
2% chances to crit strike ur target or more ( for critical classes with critical builds only

)
All elemental attak 10% or more ( 8 should be the lowest to chose

)
Now stoning the weapons :
For PVP -
Try to get more Physical attack stones, than elemental stones, depending of your class attaking skills chose the elemental stones (fire, air, earth, water, magic)
0/5 weapons : stone them with 2 attak stones and 3 elemental stones
0/6 use 3 attak stones and 3 ele stones
0/7 use 4 attak stones or 5 depends of your luck (coz using many prayer stones on ur weapon can fail many times ..also can break ur weapon) and also add 3 or 2 ele stones
0/8 well use 5/6 attak stones and 2 elemental stones
also.... u can use other stones instead attack stones. (if they are too expensive) ... u can chose cold prayer stones/thunder prayer stones/ poison prayer stones .. who brings ice/light/poison damage were most of the players dont have resistance against
PVE
Try to get more elemental stones in weapons then attack stones
no mather what type of weapon u chosed to make... make them at least +7
( also u can use this model for building weapons later too when u will be able to pvp [lvl 20] .. and use higher lvl stones

)
At lvl 15 u can get first lvl 15 Unique / Elite Armor ... Are expensive sometimes yes...depending of the player who sell if they want to sell them fast for lower price or if they want to sell them hard with a bigger price... they are expensive coz Uniques/ Elite armors or weapons are the best gear in the game... with best stats...

so if u got the gold to afford 1 unique armor set at lvl 15 u should aim for this :
Armor :
Green stats :
Skillblock - 7+
Max Hp - +10% or more
Defense - 10 or more
5% when hit to convert the damage taken into restoren hp
Maximum mana - 10%+
yellow stats:
yellow stats gives +1 to a random skill from combat of yours... chose the armor who have the right yellow stats for you but also try to get an armor with the green stats that i writed before
Stone The Armor with prayer stones like ( Physical resistance prayer stone... stamina increase prayer stone...defence prayer stone lvl 1 or higher depends of ur budget

always about gold in this game

hehe) but till lvl 35 u should use Stamina + Defence + Defence in your armor for better defense
Reinforce it up to +7 at least

if u have the gold again or the reinforcement potions
Gloves/Gauntlets/Bracelets
Green Stats:
Attak rating +10 or more
Attak speed +10 or more
Casting time reduce 2% or more
Yellow Stats:
Again chose the glove/gauntlets/bracelets who gives the yellow stat that u need the most (depending of your class) in this case the Buff skills...

chose the good ones
Stone them with Light speed stones ... depends of your gold you can get lvl 1 or 2 or 3 light stones ( like all other prayer stones) and also with Critical stone if you are a critical class using a critical build... if not then use an elemental stone

lvl 2-3
Greaves/Kilt/Tasset
Green stats :
Resistance 10% or more
Defence 10 or more
Yellow stats:
Yellow stats from Greaves/Kilt/Tassets... gives +1 to random skills from your Class Skills ... chose the right one acording to your class and build
Stone them with Physical resistance prayer stone .. and skill block prayer stones

buy the ones you can afford ..or use the one you droped if u were lucky
Reinforce up to +7 at least
Boots:
Green stats:
Movement speed 10+ or more
Block 4% or more
Yellow stats:
Chose the Boots that have the good yellow stats according to your Passive skills

passive skills are very important since are skills that you dont have to buff them all time

... (also depending about the class u chose...)
Stone them with Quickness prayer stones... and lucky prayer stones

...
So these are the stats for armor set that you should aim for when u are lvl 15 but also for higher lvls too

those stats are like medium to best (green stats i mean) .. so finding them might get pretty hard but you can find others with lower stats like these..but not too low

they should work too / And about the stones... well prayer stones have 3 lvls ... if u dont got too much gold get lvl 1 if u got few gold to spend get lvl 2 if u have lots of gold to spend get lvl 3
After u made lvl 15 u can now go to the first dungeon if u have pretty good armor and weapon... be sure to use medium hp pots

it can be difficult there
If you got a human class... go to FORGOTEN GRAVE ...
This dungeon is in Lizardman's Claw area northwest of Tullan, major city of Humans. It is consisted of three floors and the monsters are of Lv. 17 ~ Lv. 23 on the ground floor, Lv. 22 ~ Lv. 28 on the 1st floor, and Lv. 26 ~31 on the 2nd floor. These monsters are much stronger than normal field mobs but drop more valuable items, and you also gain more xp from 1 mob then you get from 1 mob outside
If you got an Orc Class go to TOMB OF THE DEAD
This dungeon is near Talon Yard south of Kuhn, the major city of Orcs. It is consisted of three floors and the monsters are of Lv. 17 ~ Lv. 23 on the ground floor, Lv. 22 ~ Lv. 28 on the 1st floor, and Lv. 26 ~ Lv. 31 on the 2nd floor. These monsters are much stronger than normal field mobs but drop more valuable items. and you also gain more xp from 1 mob then you get from 1 mob outside
If you got a Moonelf class go to UNMARKED GRAVE..
This dungeon near Karebun Road north of Laflesia, the major city of Moonelf. It is consisted of three floors and the monsters are of Lv. 17 ~ Lv. 23 on the ground floor, Lv. 22 ~ Lv. 28 on the 1st floor, and Lv. 26 ~ Lv. 31 on the 2nd floor. These monsters are much stronger than the normal field mobs but drop more valuable items. and you also gain more xp from 1 mob then you get from 1 mob outside
Now try and lvl in those caves as much as you can ...basically till lvl 25
if u make lvl 20 u can chose to make new weapon

use same built i writed before to build ur weapon

also at lvl 20 u are able to make pvp now be carefull there are many ppl out there who like to kill you for nothing just for fun ... and what i am gonna tell you guys now.. will help you later to not look like a noob... if someone kills you with no reason... most of the time is better not to talk bad with that guy.. dont swear him.. you can get banned... you will look like a guy who cry a lot and stuff like that

... instead doing those things ask them what armors they have what weapons... try to be friend with him.. who knows maybe you will be good friends and you will be able to help each other later ... (this is only if u kno that u cant kill him back

to revenge) if you can kill him back..go ahead kill him back... and ask him why he killed you and if he do it again you will do it again also

..
Now lvl and lvl and lvl

...
Use the new dungeons when u think ur ready ( lvl 25+ )
For Humans : FORBIDDEN MINE - This dungeon is near Elloham Watchtower southwest of Tullan, the major city of Humans. It is consisted of three floors and the monsters are of Lv. 27 ~ Lv. 33 on the ground floor, Lv. 32 ~ Lv. 38 on the 1st floor, and Lv. 37 ~ Lv. 41 on the second floor. These monsters are much stronger than normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
For Orcs: SEALED MINE - This dungeon is to the southwest of Trilgard, the major city of Orcs. It is consisted of three floors and the monsters are of Lv. 27 ~ Lv. 33 on the ground floor, Lv. 32 ~ Lv. 38 on the 1st floor, and Lv. 37 ~ Lv. 41 on the 2nd floor. These monsters are much stronger than normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
For MoonElfs: CLOSED MINE This dungeon is near Sky Bridge west of Deribelle, the major city of Moonelf. It is consisted of three floors and the monsters are of Lv. 27 ~ Lv. 33 on the ground floor, Lv. 32 ~ L. 38 on the 1st floor, and Lv. 37 ~ Lv. 41 on the 2nd floor. These monsters are much stronger than the normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
Now i think you all know the game a little and all is more simple and clearly for you stay in these mines till lvl 35 basically

there is no need to go to the last floor unless u dont have place to grind in the caves wich i am gonna tell you about right now
So now at lvl 35+ go go go in Caves
For Humans : FLAME CAVE This dungeon is near Redderhood east of Tullan, the major city of Humans. It is consisted of two floors and the monsters are of Lv. 40 ~ Lv. 45 on the ground floor and Lv. 46 ~ Lv. 50 on the 1st floor. These monsters are much stronger than normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
For Orcs: CORROSION CAVE This dungeon is near Infinite Mill west of Trilgard, the major city of Orcs. It is consisted of two floors and the monsters are of Lv. 40 ~ Lv. 45 on the ground floor and Lv. 46 ~ Lv. 50 on the 1st floor. These monsters are much stronger than the normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
For Moonelfs: MIASMA CAVE This dungeon is northeast of the Moonelf city, Tor Fortress. It is consisted of two floors and the monsters are of Lv. 40 ~ Lv. 45 on the ground floor and Lv. 46 ~ Lv. 50 on the 1st floor. These monsters are much stronger than the normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
these were last dungeons to lvl till lvl 50 guys

or ofc to higher lvl if u want to lvl slower but with not so many pots to use and also killing mobs faster
Ofcourse if you can buy Wcoins with real money... buy passports for towns/graves/mines/caves

its more simple to switch them if u dont find a spot to lvl in other one ... also you can buy the passports with gold from ppl in game...
And now the last dungeon... and the most longest one... were spots are full almolst all time....and full of pkers too...

... is called ASYLUM
This dungeon is at Vampire Village in the center of Silancium. It is consisted of four floors and the monsters are of Lv. 45 ~ Lv. 51 on the ground floor, Lv. 51 ~ Lv. 60 on the 1st floor, Lv. 60 ~ Lv. 70 on the 2nd floor, and Lv. 66 ~ Lv. 80 on the 3rd floor. The monsters are much stronger than the normal field mobs but drop more valuable items.
You can lvl here till 75+ or so

...
Basically from lvl 71 most of ppl go to Ice world ( elemental world wich gives new Armors with better stats ) ...The players can get here using the portals at the major cities Tullan, Trilgard and Deribelle. The ice elemental monsters of Lv. 76 to Lv. 82 are here in the glacial terrain. These monsters are much stronger than the normal field mobs but drop armor sets at a low rate. Also the players can acquire the Lightening Elemental World Passport. This region is strewn with various ice traps.
From 76+ Ppl go to Light World ( Elemental world wich gives new armors with better stats) The players can get here using the Lightening Elemental World Passport obtained from the Ice Elemental World. The portal at the starting point brings the players back to the major city of each race. The bleak environment resembling mechanical parts threatens the players. The lightening elemental monsters of Lv. 82 to Lv. 86 drop armor sets at a low rate and also drop the Poison Elemental World Passport. This region is strewn with various lightening traps.
From 79+ Players finelly reached lets say their goal... to go in poison and farm for their awesome armors

.. The players can get here using the Poison Elemental World Passport obtained from the Lightning Elemental World. The portal at the starting point brings the players back to the major city of each race. The stinking swamps and disgusting environment that resembles the internal organs of some creature are full of poisonous elemental monsters between Lv. 85 and Lv. 90. The monsters drop armor sets at a low rate. This region is strewn with various poisonous traps.
These 3 elemental worlds are used to lvl and farm in the same time after lvl 71

... so good luck and have fun there... also if u drop an armor wich is not suitable for your class you can always tell in guild/union that u droped lets say "Armor of Cross" - wich is the Ice armor for Knights... but u wont be able to use it if you are another class then Knight...so why not making a good thing and summon a friend of you or a guild mate very fast as possible or tell them to use gate of phantom ( /go thing) to get that armor for him ...you will make him a great gift and he will be very happy about it
Well thats it about lvling

...............
P.S: You can always farm outside too were you wont find so many pkers...and many empty spots with no players at them...but that is only if you want to lvl a little harder

and farm ( getting good stuff to sell and make money) or farm for a unique accesory

to see at what lvls you can wear and get unique accesories ... and the most important from what mobs they drop... look at this site :

and you should have many nerves coz sometimes u can farm for 3 weeks and not drop your unique thing

but sometimes if ur lucky you can get it fast like 1-2-3 days

....
P.S 2 : To lvl even more faster then i writed all before use a ToA (Talisman of awakening - wich gives 20% more xp and 10% more gold , u can buy that item with real money or from ppl in game for gold ) ... and if its possible always use twinks when u lvl

Twinks are lower lvl characters then you... wich you get them in your party and bring them to your spot... usualy by sumoning them... so if u got 4 twinks standing near you while you kill the mobs to get exp... you will get 10% more xp from each twink you got...that means an extra 40% more xp
P.S 3: Now that we are in Webzen...they got some extra stuff in game...such as the NPC monsters in every town...you cant miss them...they are some big archers (RED colored) very big

... they give u gifts for your lvl

... first gift u can take it at lvl 1

then you can take it at 10 > 20 > 30 .(from 10 lvls to 10) .. after 30 you can get them from 5 lvls to 5 so will go like 35>40>45>50>55>60 ...60 is bottom line of this

from there they think you dont need anymore help and you should start buying those things for real money so they can make a profit from you
P.S 4 : Making quests in Archlord dont help you to lvl like in other games... here you get a crap xp for the quests u made ( unless u are high lvl and make them coz you are bored) ...they give good stuff.... like Reinforcement pots, prayer stones, and many more ...also gold

so if you are poor or bored of lvling with killing mobs...do quests
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
