There were events back then here. Also, there was a bug with that you were able to go there (it was a bit hard, needed 2 chars - 1 ranger for doing that). I remember that time when me and my friend were able to go there xD it is called "Triboots" area anyways. and nothing ever was there, this area was only for events.
