Making a new game?
Hello (:
I heard Epic Games made their engine for making games free,and i got one,so im interested to give it a go,and try to make something like archlord,with engine worth 100.000 euros that should be easy?

try making AL2 with same races but new world and different skills. the advantage would be that we got the basic graphics then. ( not like AL2 of asia ofc)

good luck making the game but i don't think it i'll be easy, not even whit an engine worth 100.000 euros, unless you know what your doing.
But it would be really nice if you get it done

heres a few ideas for the game..
Archlord 2: End of time (or somet)
basicly life after the archlord 
similar maps, but make them more "wasteland", cities destroyed, random camps, some new types of monsters, more of a craft system.
erm yeh . just a idea ^_^

isnt it better to use a Graphic Engine instead of a Game Engine? learning C/C++ is much better as learning a kind of script!. i would suggest all to check out Ogre Graphic engine
u can see alot of nice screens on there forum showcase section.
i have made some little games with that graphic engine but i failed on a huge RPG....
because of being a 1 man team to much work.... Modeling/Texturing/Animating/Programming.... .

hmmm well not neccecerally ( yeh i cant spelll)
re draw models, set the range (or travel distance of ammunition) to a minimum simulating a mele attack..

hi EPvP,
i have been trying to edit the latest OS game.exe so it works with my server...
and so far i have had no luck. what i need to do is replace the OS login IP with "127.0.0.1". (i dont plan on making my server public anytime soon)
