HOW TO USE THE FILES

• Install VMware Workstation Pro
• Open the virtual machine server files with vmware
• Set settings at Vmware:

Edit>Virtual Network Editor

Set settings like this:

• Start Archlord Server virtual Machine
• login with user & pass
• Start Loginserver, relayserver and gameserver from desktop shortcuts
• ???
• Profit

(if gameserver crashes try adding more core processors and ram*to the virtual machine at settings)

Server will be running, now return to your desktop and connect using any of the clients from Start.bat*


Login with GM account mbnq/mbnq

HOW TO PLAY WITH HAMACHI

Once you have done all the steps install Hamachi at YOUR PC (not into the virtual machine) configure it and when your friends are inside hamachi they just need to use the start.bat file in their clients.

Done!

bbogdy93 this is for a self hosted personal server not public, you can run it on your pc for your own use.

The instructions are there for Hamachi but the server files are not finished and the game is unstable, this is not for running a commercial server.

I found a dvd I made back in the days with the original and official ep3 client. Can it help?

I mean there was servers like archlord-online or infinity, they were nice. Why can't someone make a server like that. I have the money to pay for the host but I need to make the server.

Got it almost working with a Archlord EP3 client i could find. I can open it, I can login and see the server with 'few' population. But when I try to connect the (Arisen) server it hangs at "Waiting for response". Music is playing fine, but application stays at "Waiting for repsonse".
At the Server itself I see Accept Socket message, but the game on the client will not go further.
What can I try to get it working?

I hope someone has a working answer or another (working) private Archlord server.

hey you have ep3 client to run on arisen-server what have you new or rewritten in the client? or did you just happen to find !! if you have of course know so much that you have rewritten that tell me times if the wings or cloaks work ??

Episode 3 client needs some modifycation done on the archlord.exe to be able to login in server => reverse enginering some packets

Use this one patched:

Not the one original from episode 3.

Now you will be able to login in server but another problem will come!

Textures problems!You cannot see monsters/other players in game using this client due the different structure of client pairing with server!(check itemtemplate.ini episode original client with itemtemplate.ini from server)So in order to make the textures to work you need some reversing of packets posible in server or client to get the corect textures.
