Win 7 archlord entering world crash

hi all,
im on laptop Win7 and most of time my client is crashing after character select screen "entering world".
on my PC i have installed XP and never get crashs..
anyone know a solution ?

i know the problem but no real solution so far.

first, load another char on same account (even on different server) then use char select and load the char you wanna play with. - the first char you load should be in a city, not in open field. And, if you move to any city your main char be4 you log off, you will be able to load it again without problems.

looks like i found a solution i have set compatiblity of alefclient.exe to windows xp sp3
so far it never crashed.

Thx i have tryed it and its much much better now.
Sometimes still crashes but this seems to be normal ^^ .

Its a sound bug

give sound folder in Archlord another name.

dude its becouse of a windows update..thats why the game crashes...i restored my sistem a few days back..and i turn off the updates of the windows and now i dont get eny more crash..
