Because vultures are waiting.

Just imagine how many people is waiting till he say "i'm closing this project and i'm going to make my server opened source".

These people won't try it alone, because they're afraid of time wasted on making a server which could ends very, very bad.

That's my opinion and point of view, of course you don't have to agree with me, since everyone have (or should have) own point of view.

As u can see in past everyone wanted to make a server and there was few private and all failed because of lack of programming skills to make stable server and fix game bugs. But there was only old server files.

If Osy make this open source there will be same thing as with other server files. Even if someone make a good stable server he wont last long because ppls dont wanna lvl again and make uniqs, gear and other things again.


I think this is end of this nice game, only who will stay is ppls on justac and classical but not for long servers will die.

That's the whole point of the game and the fun part. Not being maxed and spending more on cash items than your opponent to be on top.


And thank you osiy for having the server up for us to play. It was a lot of fun, at least for me.

**** guys,you cant think a bit?The code isnt full,isnt stable,has alot of bugs,selling it its worse.This needs to be open soruce,i respect his job but isnt a skilled dev!Its begginer dev he used tutorials and other peoples work(selling other peoples work?),everyone needs money!And he wants some funds for his work,but this incomplete code doesnt make more than 5 $ ! There are out packs for example Lineage 2 where devs sells them compiled with 100 user online limitation with 20$+ and the functions are 98% done(bugs 5-10%),and open source code full working code with 100$+....Think a bit about this....He did a great job but he needs more to work on development,he cant fix bugs because there are not peoples to help him and maybe he doesnt know how to fix them because he is unskiled!I offered my work with and i didnt got any reply...

Al3css you can't say that it is worth 5$ sorry man but thats definitely not the truth. Since you are involved in it you can't see the time and skill he put on this project, he is more skilled than me in development stage that's for sure.

He may know a little less about Oracle database which is why there are problems with inventories and logins.

However the time and ressources he dedicated on this project are worth more than a 500$ for sure. And the base he developped is worth approximately about 2000$ since he took several months on it even if it's incomplete.

I sent my proposal on his email, i will see what happens. Since i have others projects that are under development i can use current ressources to host easily.

Going on vacations in Croatia for a while departure for Monday. Hope you guys goes well, and Osiy take fresh air ... you need that.

Hm, looking through the files, it rather seems this Osyi used some kind of school programming knowledge, however, he can by no means compete with a real programmer.

al3css has atleast proven to be capable of doing some programming in the past.
I hope you can do something useful with those files, dude.

about 2000$ ? Omg i cant belive this...GL then..pfoa 2000$ for just a base incompleted and full of bugs...you need to think you will need to do another data tables for other functions,you need to do some store procedures and much more features to fix this files + you will need a team to work on it and you need some time to inspect the build code + hosting server + network engineer (2 guys) and much thinks to continue the project or rebuild it because for sure isnt in a good stage because of loosing packets and disconnect problems..just think a bit.. Good luck hope to see some day the emu up with 50% real features available!

Do u even know how much real game files cost ( of any game ) ? I dont know any game without some bug because its work of many developers, 1 make a little mistake and someone will find it and abuse that bug, its normally for all games.

Ahahah ... One night to Venezia then straight to Dubrovnik. From there i return back slowly to Venezia visiting every interresting waypoints (Krka and so ...) during 2 weeks.
