Failed Private Cm Servers?? Why?? Let's discuss a bit

So the point of making this post after so many other ones related to private servers is to stop those guys wannabe's from making a pservers from week to week .

Here's what i think!

1- people are discouraged about archlord 2 because of ******* webzen so they play Justac that is basically an easy Version Of WEBZEN.

2- Wannabe's opening Cm based servers . This one is funny , cuz since Hm. released his files , people grab them and open a server without changing a **** !!!!! That makes me laugh since those servers don't even stay online for a week. p.s- atleast they could delete the fake rings and realms etc .

What i pretend to do is very simple.
I've managed to clean the files from Client/server to have a fully episode 2 . No realms , no uniques , no high rates , no ******* crashes .

I'm really hoping to have support on this from you , cuz it's been frustrating watching people ruin my favourite game . Comment bellow and let me know if you agree .

The problem is that everyone copies AL-Online files indeed.
Another problem that we have is: we can't do much more than they did with the current files. :/
An ep 2 server'd be awesome, I've tried to mod some files myself but My connection is to bad to open up a server :/

They have ruined the files ... and the connection problem can be solved with a paid host .

Yeah, but who's going to pay a host? I don't want to set up a server with a chantra shop, I hate it.

+ it could be nice if there are actually some people playing on a CM ep 2 server, not only 20 people.

gameguard sucks but it's needed to private server too, too many kids have too much free time

making ep3 from ep2 files is biggest fail ever

The only real big problem is the fact that the files are unstable and incomplete.
Yes, you can create a epi 1-2 ish server with the files that may seem stable at first.
However as soon as the population on the server starts increasing crashes will appear.

Some people also like to cheat or try to destroy the server. These files have NO WAY to protect against that, currently I can think of about 5 ways to make the server crash without needing heavy resources.

These are just some examples of why it is so hard to create a pserver with these files, but I am still ready to support anyone who tries to do their best to create one.

20 pounds a month is a fair price to pay to bring the game back to life ,no chantra shop needed

i agree on this one but as everyone knows that even with gameguard there are hackers and glitchers , as you can see on these last posts about Justac . i'd give a chance on this idea , a good team could manage to detect that people and ban .

Yes , there are some ways to crash the server without any problem , and ofc the server isn't stable with lots of people playing but the new oracle/windows can handle more "weight" than the old versions of the software and a good host is important. Anyways , we're talking about a server that would be fun for all of us ! Got alot of ideas to it

why dont you gyus gather a small team of 4-5 dedicated people and make a good low rate EP2 server like this ? a lot of people would join, oh and also you need to do it fast before Archlord 2 takes the players.

there arent many who will do it for free lol...
its all about the money, even if someone tells you its not...

yes i agree but, its hard to make good one with this files and we dont have any other files

and the biggest this that is missing is not realms/uniqs/combo skills, i think its siege, i mean original siege. Bcs the game can be interesting even without this things, but siege is needed in my opinion, in this way you dont need unfair events (with op rewards) hosted by gm, siege is enough. But its missing too, idk how bcs im pretty sure that siege system is on files from episode 1 even.

I'd go ahead with this because i have alot of time to spend on. But unfortunately as marocco said , there has to be a team that can handle the server .

@Elebut i can pay the hosts and other stuff if you agree working with me :P
