Lol, that probably is the reason. But hey, we were all there once.
I remember when i had a compaq with some like 300mhz processor and like 256mb ram lol.

But now i'm rollin with a 2.6 dual core processor, 2g ram, and a nvidia geforce GTX 260 video card =P.

i started with a 386, 12 MHz to 40 MHz OMG.

dont ask me why..

now i run:
amd turion 64 x2(2,1ghz)
Nvidia 8600GS
4 gig Ddr2 @667mhz
blu-ray player.

so made some improvements.
