ok, (what i believe):
Due to failure to reach an agreement with NHN, Codemasters was unable to renew their license for ArchLord (probably due to dupe-bug), no longer able to provide the game to European and North American customers.
And then it all started:
2 aliens from Webzen could get an agrreement and published Achlord worldwide. they hired some other aliens, some weed and started 'programming' (add some contents, armor here and there). they wanted to make money as mush as possible, so they made some crazy items to pay for ingame and made the game PayToWin. and now and then they try to fix some bug or rebalance the game

I agree in the fact that Cm didnt want to drop more money at archlord.If we see that the korean or chinese archlord (nhn) that time was at episode 3-4-5 we over here didnt even have sieges.I even remember some guys posting at forums pics of blode etc etc and we all were like  wtf is it the same game ?

Ya, and now no1 would be supprised seeing items like +10 skill rank or 90% chance to deal 18745398% dmg -.-
This game isn't dead. It's different. But u can't say everything Webzen launched is **** / **** / sux *****. Imo there are some pretty cool things like for exmaple race wars (rvr). I mean, the idea was good... Still, miss the old CM times. As u guys said, the most importat was balanced chars, economy not so fcked like we have now, no overpowered items. And yes, oofc lower, much lower exp rates  Hope any1 will find out how to launch and keep alive good epi3 priv.

two things I hate in CM version was dupe bug and corrupted GMs

We can take the serverfiles from cm and we can work with them but here is another problem.To buy their files we need to pay alot and we need to take license from webzen to start a great hosting on episode 3 server.But if i think better wz will not give to us license because someday they can lose all players...1 solution we got..rebuilding emulator on chinese server like infrasma said and work on their client.Here comes the problems and infrasma didnt specified it..after working on chinese client and if he try to translate again the client like they did on celestia client the game will start crashing again...

I guess if someone can launch Archlord Episode 3 again, with a good coder team.. It will be the new Archlord.
Everyday Webzen lose more players because they fck the game more and more.
- Pay items.
- OP items.
- To much CC items.
- To much farm worlds.
- To much different armours/weapons and ****.
At CM it was not ''only the pay-guys and OP stuff guys'' can win in PvP.
Build up good armour + some uniques and make a GOOD build.. That's more nice..
And yes, there was Glitches, dupeing and much more, but i guess that can be fixed?
I don't know how people can like Webzen.. And seeing they destroy the game..

disableing mail-system would solve the dupe method. no-cooldown hack and attack-speed hack would be harder :s

Agree, CM was more fun with some glitch/dupe people.
WZ = Moneygame, i guess this isnt fun anymore for a F2P game.

If I was forced to play the same episode for X more years, I would have quit a long time ago. I like that Wz adds some new content on a yearly basis.
That's also why I quit playing on that private server after a week. Been there done that :<

I don't say the idea of the updates is bad. This is the only way game can keep players. But those updates should be more... considered.

Updates are nice ofcourse.
But they add to much new stuff, and game isnt balanced or fun anymore.
I guess there is/was enough to fix at Episode III so...
And ofcourse some more updates there, but webzen destroys it.

well for me codemasters ep3 doesnt need any update bcs with that xp and low drop was rlly fun and was so hard to make lvl 70+, and to make 99 you need more than a year.... in webzen you can make lvl 120 in 4 days

CM continues to turn there heads on these issues and keep banning people for no reason or misleading accusations from other players which do not even have proof of there actions. This game is a total failure do to the incompetence of your GM's and support staff who continue to turn there heads and not deal with any matters or situations in game which insult or harass other players.
