Need help on Bott programming - how to move the player

Hi, im programming my own Bot (or try to do that) ...

Im looting with PostMessage ... but if i post the key to move foreward nothing happens. Can anyone tell me how to move the player ?

with the w key if im right..

No .. this dosnt work ... !

Ican open the inventory with the i key ... and also all other windows in al ... bot if i send w the player dont move.

then you have your keys remapped to something else. W is the default for walk forward.

best way to find out is go in game and find the key that moves your player forward. if it turns out to be W, then im guessing your bot wont work using W.

Im my Setup ist the W key ... but sending the W key to the Window dosnt work.

From experience experimenting, ill tell you that trying to move your bot in this way is not ideal. Maybe if your just trying to walk around randomly, but not if your trying to walk back to your botting position after a death or something like that.

The problem is when you die, you respawn in a new spot everytime, so trying to program your bot to walk to specified places like this is practically impossible. If you are trying to go from point A to point B, use the minimap but make your first move a centering move, meaning its the exact same spot each time, thus u can use that as a starting point.

i know .. but i cant bring the player to walk ... so this problem is sheduled until i can move the player. But thanks for the advice.

are you trying to move in window mode?

if so, is it the front most program running?

i.e. if you have it windowed, and another program running in front of it. with the focus?

if the answer is yes. it wont work. the archlord window has to have focus for key commands to work.

Thats not right ... the al window take commands also in background !
All Keys work in background, except the moving ones.

But ill try to do it in the foreground and report the results here.
