he helps to make the trade as safe as possible
for example u wanna trade acc for Paypal
so u give acc data to the mm, he will change the mail, pw and he have to check if the char ur offering is on it, he also should check (for example with "teamviewer") if u are logged out from the acc, so u cant change mail back.
and ur trade partner have to sent the money to the mm also.
so he got both, the money and the acc.
now the mm have to send u the money and ur trade partner the (new) account data.
