" type /fps " to find frames per second and position on map, this got me thinking. If there are commands you can type in then there must be other commands as well, both for normal players and for GM's. All you would need is to make a program to turn on the gm command functions and you would be able to use them ingame.
For example in vindictus it was using valve to run the game. This mean't, just like counter strike all you had to do was make a program to change "sv_cheats 0" to "Sv_cheats 1" and you would be able to use GM commands in game by using a program to turn each gm cheat on or off.
Anyways, if you know where the command list is for Archlord pls tell me which file they are in.
i don't think they use a different client, cus someone managed to use the notice function allready once.
i doubt thats true, but still even if they do or don't use the same client, the commands are server sided, but client executes them to the server, so it doesn't matter which client you use, as long as it can send the command to the server.
Yeah, i think it's about names, they are managed on somes files on their sever.
If it was by commands, it would be a lot dangerous when we find ...
They must have on the database something like:
GM : 0 = no commands
GM : 1 = commands
The server we have, when we write anyejingling, there is no registeration on the database, so i don't really know how it works but it's not by commands.
about 7 years ago, i used to run a runescape private server.. there i had a few commands (you wrote ::commandname) then something would happen, but when i wanted some commands only for me, i wrote something like this:
Code:
if (command.StartsWith("commandname") && player.Rights == 3) {
//do something here
//player.Rights == 3 as in administrator
}

the "notice" from a player saying wtb 200% toa is true
but it wasnt cuz he had admin ability or anything
it is just another of the thousands of bugs.
the players shouts somehow apeared in the right text window instead of the left
