Just join the Everything Glitches discord(the one from the video). Multiple dupe methods are documented there including any item dupe. You can just replicate what the QD program does manually to remove detection risk.

How is that not a scam ?

He is reselling someone else's intellectual property for a profit. Something that someone made open source because he believed that it was better if everyone could access it freely and add his grain of salt to it to make it better.

This guy is just coming, reselling someone else's work for a HUGE CHUNK of money and leaving, I can't see how that's not a scam.
