Andromeda Reborn

Hello everyone,

I’m happy to introduce Andromeda Reborn.

After the end of Flash Player, it became impossible to play the original DarkOrbit Flash client directly in modern browsers. Because of that, I spent a lot of time rebuilding part of the experience as a modern HTML5 browser client, playable on today’s browsers.

Andromeda Reborn is a project inspired by the classic DarkOrbit feeling, with the goal of bringing that old-school experience back in a modern and accessible way.

When you create an account, you start with 500,000 Uridium, which allows you to buy:
- ships
- weapons
- speed generators
- shield generators
- ammunition
- ship designs
- Iris/flax
- CPUs

You begin your journey with a Phoenix, but thanks to the starting Uridium, you can quickly gear up and choose how you want to progress.

Main features currently available:
- NPC rewards are multiplied by x3
- Galaxy Gates
- Skill tree / upgrade system
- Damage, shield and hitpoint boosters
- Clan system with war and alliance function
- Clan credit tax system to help clan members get equipped faster
- Refining and auto-refining
- Upgrade with cargo (promerium, seprom)
- Chat
- Group system
- Quest


Before clicking Start, make sure to:
- go to the Shop
- buy a weapon
- equip it in the Configuration system

Once that is done, you are ready to begin your adventure.

Playable directly in your browser — no Flash required.

The project is still evolving, and feedback is always welcome.

Looks amazing, congrats. I will definitely play it day one. Backpage is gonna stay like this or do you have plans to make it look like DO? Its a bit weird for me at least but i can get used to it, looks pretty smooth anyway. Looking forward to play this

I’ve just finished working on the UI windows, and I’ve put together a short video to show you the progress. I would really appreciate your feedback on how it looks!


I spent a huge amount of time fixing all the issues the windows had. To make the experience as authentic as possible, I integrated the original images from the SWF files so they look nearly identical to the original game.

In addition to the UI polish, I’ve implemented several core gameplay features:

NPC Aggression: NPCs now react and attack as intended.

Dynamic Rewards: Honor and Experience gains are now calculated based on the specific ship type.

Honor System: Killing an ally will result in an Honor point penalty, unless your clans are at war.

Alliance Penalty: If you kill a member of an alliance, the Honor loss is multiplied by 2.

For those asking if I will redesign the website to look exactly like DarkOrbit: the answer is no. It would be too time-consuming, but I’ve designed the site so that any DarkOrbit player will feel right at home and understand the layout immediately.

Following the feedback I received about the difficulty of progressing in the game, especially when it comes to buying ships, weapons, generators, and other equipment, I have increased NPC rewards.

Credits and Uridium earned from NPCs have now been multiplied by 3.

Honor and experience remain unchanged.

If somebody could do a video of the game it will be great :)

I haven't been able to use my repair robot, nor do I see one in the store; this is what my interface looks like.

We are aware that many users are currently experiencing issues with the Menu Action Bar on Google Chrome.

In the meantime, please use Edge or Firefox, as this issue does not affect those browsers. A fix will be deployed by tomorrow.

Hello everybody,

Actually i'm fixing the problem with menuaction bar and in the same time, I'm adding hellstorm system, special ability, new design ship like diminisher, etc...

I know then the game have severals bugs and new things to add but it's an alpha :)
