[Request]100% Range

Sorry, I worded my post wrong. I generally know where to look, as I've been digging around in Standard.dll for about four hours now, following calls related to ranged attack.

No luck finding what I'm looking for though, which would be a conditional jump I could change to skip the "Aiming" part and just send the "I shoot this monster" packet.

... Then again, am I looking for the right thing?

Probably not. You're gonna need to learn a few more basic terms than CMP, JMP, and JND if you're gonna figure out the range one.

Hmm ... Back to the drawing board then ...
That's why I ask for a nudge in the right direction, Mabi probably uses some weird wtf-code for ranged.

Not exactly, this game wasn't coded very well.

It was coded in the hopes that Failshield would solve all their problems, probably.

Originally, Mabi actually used gameguard. Gameguard speaks for itself, "GG." lol. When they put in Failshield, that's when dll hook mods started disappearing and stuff.
They just did a really crappy job on making the game. My theory on it is that they wanted to get the game finished fast when they were producing it in korea, because they knew it was gonna be a really good game that everyone would like, and they ended up leaving over 9000 glitches, mods, exploits, etc.

Sog, isn't a mod sog it's the luck or timing of hitting out of range targets. I noticed the last post on here was 12-1-09 but I figured I'd clear it up. There is a .dll edit for having no % aim for range skills. As Black Fomor said it has been spreading through Kryptonite,Edgepunisher, and Ignite of Ruiari. My guess and I'm pretty sure I know the few that did it but a leaked it out and therefore that is how it got spread so fast. Personally, the .dll wasn't so hard to figure out what to change though.

Or. You could just learn how to SoG without mods?

Rank C range. Rank F Magnum. 61 dex. Never misses at 40% - 50%

Here ya go :3

That isn't a bad idea but most people prefer the easy way. I can sog with or without mods. I personally, dislike the fact the mod was leaked see as so many abuse it in Ruiari now. I could understand wanting Mag that misses less for dungeons but a large group use for pvp and annoying others in Gwar, Arena, etc.

Can we just lock this and end it?

It's supposedly what the cool kids do now a days.

If you really want to know what each does and how they're linked you should go read and learn some assembly. It's more detailed than what someone is going to tell you and you'll understand a lot more, other then reading and learning, the major thing that will help is experience.
