I'd also suggest this way instead of creating new-trade routes.
JG/DW/HT route is damn good with 2 CH ferries.Old map-old times,lovely.
Moreover of the advantages of the old map is there are alternative ways traders can use rather going all through a way where no single trees,mobs or something at all but a small way which is annoying.This way thieves would be searching all the map instead of camping @ teleportation plus giving thieves a chance to take away the dropped loots inb4 hunters regroup and kick their ass unlike having a less chance in new-trade-route since the area is kinda small and you can't really steal&hide loots somewhere.
About the uniques,you won't really be in need of this since your damage won't be as low as 90 cap.Suppose you are 100 level blader zerking @ TG,like 30 seconds will be enough for you to take required HP of the unique in order not to get ksed by a wizard or something.Dont't even expect to have equal DMG with a wizard since you are a fakin tanking bitch.
I'd simply suggest removing all reverse points around unique areas so that you either wait for uniques @ unique spawn points or run from town to spawn area like how we used to do in isro.
