Targetting shadow mission NPC's is definitely possible.
Especially since we can target props via modifications

^ Yup, you'll need to get into skillinfo.xml, and then change the targeting preference to include npcs...

I was thinking that, but I wasn't able to remember how to do it.

before the great modding removal. i had a mod that allowed the monster to say its skill. i forget how i got a hold of it. it was interesting
03/08/2010 07:24 Infylos#55
lol, like, the monster would speak words?
03/08/2010 07:29 skititlez#56
like if it was counter they would say (counter)
03/08/2010 07:39 Infylos#57
LOL! That's interesting, indeed. I wonder if that still works.

Here's a interesting one: I don't know if it's still possible but, I used to see some people able to switch weapons while in counter. Not all that useful, but you could throw people off in duels... I'll look into it when I get bored of doing stupid things in Dragon Age... >_>;;;

was once possible with an IsEquipEnabled change..... but idk if that still works or not but worth a shot

For the equipment change, that skill should be checked server side.
As for the display attack mod, that should be a simple ai command change in the data pack, similar to the way that we changes the pet ai's to say what skill that they were using.
