lol well considering the guy who hosted the server couldnt edit the database at all and that server was trying to recreate the same things as were in my server that would mean it most likely was you who attempted to add them ... hence the statement

You're all using copyrighted binaries/files written by TQ does it really matter?, just because person X edited them doesn't mean ownership over person Y.

this is in response to the huge amount of inflamatory and slanderous things discusssed about my server every time anyone posts here making it almost impossible for anyone to have any kind of discussion about this game without having the same person turn it into an argument every time I post or anyone mentions my server or company
and in fact just pointing out the people attempting to slander me would by their own words be guilty of what they say I have done (falsely)
good news for the hypocrites of the world lol

to be honest however you are actually wrong in your statement my copyrights on the things i have created not just for this game but that work in all of the games I host do in fact make me the owner of them (followed the examples of my competitors)

True, yes. Most of it belongs to TQ.

But when you create a new file and its entirety that file then belongs to you.
As long as every text/byte/bit/megabyte/kilobyte was done by you.

I'll admit I never made my own .dats (yet) still working on the exe for it, been tied up in school, though made shop.dat from scratch. Thus giving u the result of

I would but I don't have the money nor do I care to compete. I haven't worked on ZO in so long.

If you make a server to compete with others, then you really have a self-low, you should do what you think is good and what the players think is good.

I seriously doubt any of you have rewritten a dat from scratch, since you have no issue running leaked binaries rewriting a fail for the sake of avoiding copyright seems pointless (even this argument is sketchy and people have lost copyright battles for less).

The point I'm trying to make is your arguing about this shit is all pointless and unproductive, this thread turned from a simple question to a shit slinging contest, creating bloat and ruining any value it had to be informative.

These forums have a PM function as I'm sure your aware where you can debate till your hearts content and you win your internet argument.

Anyways someone more knowledgeable gave me some context on the situation, I think the only way you'll revive this scene is if you all cotribute to one server, with shared knowledge, rather separate ones in competition as it just won't work with a small userbase, that's all up to you guys though :)

Obviously if he has files when he was told to get rid of them, we (zo ppl) do not want to help each other by just handing shit over. If you want to gain knowledge you need to work for it. Not just expect it to be handed to you on a silver f**king platter.

lol I obviously do have files... my own.. as far as being told to remove anything from "my"files" thats not going to happen plain and simple...

I did release on here a client when the links were removed from mega upload (or there wouldnt be any other client files available)... you guys should be more than able to develope a working server between that client and the multiple versions of server files that are around.
I dont need help from this forum and do not ask it(as I have the only available server and it is online "and" i have progressed beyond any available tutorial on this game)
I come here to help the people who will come behind me.. but of course thats kinda hard to do when you get some punk with a 3 year old childs attitude contradicting everything you say or do to help anyone..(alex all your friends that youre defending left you here by yourself why dont you go with them or shut the hell up and get on with life)

as for (zo)people i kinda suspect that isnt the general opinion that they want some troll bringing up an old and worn vendetta in every new thread and that people would like to see their threads answered without some argument flooding it that was originated by the same person(who doesnt have or work on a zo server)

its pretty simple go troll somewhere else alex and all will be fine for you

no u countered coz well . you got nothing else better to do and hey im here not for idle im not even playing on his server anymore. and no that doesn't mean its crappy it means um this is hard to explain for someone who hasn't had one before * I have a life* i got friends and family and education going on now ... to be honest i don't like idle .. but i enjoy the 1 minute i talk to him once a week.. he took away the ultra unit that i won fairly in a event. you think i go kiss his ass everyday ?

Sadly I have a life to, friends,family, and college so you're rants prove nothing. And the fact that you continue to say that you DISLIKE idle, but talk to him. That is very suspicious, I will never win because you keep contradicting yourself. So if I'm up your ass you must like it because, you haven't tried to do anything to get me out. Which is quite sad.
