Missing more ^, Part of sub class for one. I know fang worked that out :)
Steed Linage is stored as talisman progress on the horse that you have equiped. I'm pretty sure there isn't another steed point system... I could be wrong though.Quote:
Stead Point thingys, i cant remember their name, but thats missing i think.
Don't tell them about my server please. =\Quote:

I thought you were doing this for a server you were making... oh well. In any way, I'm sure the community appreciates your contribution. As for me, I'm not releasing anything until I trust this community again. Nothing personal. =\ Good luck everyone!Quote:
What server?
Korvacs, shh.Quote:
Oh right, your not wanting to help people with publically available information, looks like ill have my proxy dump every packet in the game for half an hour and release them all then.
Well i was going to release them at some point anyway, just means ill do it sooner rather than later.Quote:
Korvacs, shh.
Don't tell them we can easily do this packet structure shit.
@Fang,
I know your just trying to be friendly and so on, but it's not like those values are hard to find...
The problem is, I wasn't riding a horse at that moment etc.
That's why I'm not helping. It's easy to figure out and I think only the people that can figure it out should be allowed to use it. Great servers are made from coders that know what they're doing, not from copiers. If Korvacs releases that information than he's just hurting the members. They should figure them out themselves.Quote:

All of them are offline, and won't come back, even if they do, for how long?Quote:

Ill request this section be closed down then shall i? Where would you be if not for publically available information and tools, Im all for encouraging people to learn, but theres a line, and the packet structures are something that anyone can get, what they do with it on the other hand is a completely different ball game, atleast if they have the structures they dont have to think to themselves "it would be great if i had that packet because then i might be able to do this, but ultimately i would need to get a proxy that works, get the correct client, log the packets, find the one i want, then trial and error a load of values to figure out the structure, and screw that i cba, ill just go leach a binary server", they can just go "right ive got the packets ill give it a go".Quote:

Well I understand that... but I learned on a crap source like noobs should. The way I learned coding packets was from doing it myself like a good coder should (with help from Saints too =]). I'm not against this in any way. All of my coding friends are up to the same speed that I am with coding an up to date server.Quote:

All packet structures do is save people time and effort, something im more than happy to do, and something that i think other people should be happy to do.
Fang, honestly, the only reason your against it is because you want to be the only person with an upto date server, its funny that you disagree with the releasing of packet structures, but a fully fledge 529X base, not a whisper from you, despite the fact that ultimate the base is significantly more 'damaging' to the community than a packet layout, its pathetic.
Well in that case i would also like to be respected for my decision to help the community by releasing packet structures, not thought of as hurting the community. :rolleyes:Quote:

I'm not saying that I don't appreciate what the community has done for me, it's just that I don't like it when people leach off of me. That's why I'm not releasing my packet. It's my personal preference and I'd like to be respected for that, not flamed at. =\
I didn't mean it like that =sQuote:
