[RELEASE] 5293 Packet Structures

08/17/2010 16:22 Basser#1
Hello :awesome:.

Do NOT flame me for releasing this, saying noobs can now get the latest patch to work, because 'noobs' as we like to call them, need more than simple packet structures. Please if you use these packet structures, do not use them for ready to use sources, that would really, really mess up the private servers gain.

From this moment on I am going to release Packet Structures for the Conquer Client patch 5293.
These might be missing, or incorrect, but work for me, or sometimes simply are correct.

Important:
I am certain that not all packets are changed, so you figure out which ones did and didn't.
I am also certain the Authentication Response did change, the IP and Port were turned around. It went from IP and than Port, to Port and than the IP.

Character Information:

Message Packet:

AuthResponse:

I will keep this updated.

The reason we put #Reported on a thread is so that other people know it has been reported so it stops the mods getting flooded with a report of 1 post. More to the point technically it is off topic but we have to state that we have reported for the above reason.

Yeah it does happen on threads all the time. That's why we report people like that to help out the community a bit :)

I can assure you this is not public yet, and even if parts of these are, I figured all of those out myself, its easy, but you probably know this =P.
Thanks for your comment though. :)

It does, but not all of them, and I need all of them.
Besides I chose the latest patch, and since I'm back into releasing, I will also release this, for whoever wants it. =)

Ahh my bad. There may be minor changes to the msg packet. I know I posted the auth response one on the wiki thread though a few weeks back as well as the seed packet. Thought the char info packet was correct but I think I may have made some changes to the one on the wiki. Used it more as a guideline to help structure what I had logged already.

Good work.

These are the first packets Ive ever logged to find structures =P

Do you have to be so pedantic? People know what AuthReponse is meant to say it's a minor spelling mistake. You don't need to go making a post about it.

Its okay, such a mistake has to be corrected immediately.

Anyway, what structures is anyone missing?
