Just take Vultr and go with it, the net speed has increased since the post and has atleast 500 up and down now.

Here is a speedtest I did a month ago:

I got a question, to make my server online 24/7 I need hosting or VPS? Isn't hosting just for the website?

No, The game server you're hosting needs a fast and a dedicated machine to run on so it'd be available for players all the time. And you can also host your website on the same machine.

Clear. Thank you.

To be fair... speed of the machine itself is not a concern assuming the source you're using isn't complete shit.

The VPS I'm using right now for my servers is a 6 core 6 gig ram machine (TOTALLY OVERKILL) and even with 200+ online players I'm running like 3-4 pct cpu usage. That's using my old redux based source. Something written properly from the ground up will use even less.

Network location, peering partners, attack filtering etc are way more valuable than raw VPS stats

Volumedrive have dedicated windows server with no license, then should I buy a lisence too? How long it take to active the order?
