Thanks to this source you have a solid reference on how TQ handles a lot of info... most client files are fully documented long ago so I would think re-creating every missing TQ feature using this source would be more cumbersome than simply writing those features in something that's going to be more maintainable/scaleable in the future."
Maybe this is harsh, but this is a bad project idea. The project isn't easily maintainable, as Chris mentioned above. Do what you want, but we're both saying here that you're taking the long way around making your own client and server for it to just come out as poor quality.
