hi.. Im new here..Im using win 7. tried the listed methods in page 1. I can connect in game.. but i always get DC after a minute..

-tried using an old copy of HS.
-tried Proxyfier , Proxyfirewall and a proxycap..
-tried hiding proxyfier with sandboxie D:

BTW.. proxycap 4.20 seems to do the job.. but i can't find a serial key for it.. does anybody know where i can get it? Thanks in advance..

I have it but i still get the Message with "Programm detected"

just delete your hackshield folder and then start Vindictus, it should download a new one automatically ^^

proxycap detects for me windows 7 x64 help me pls

Proxycap dont work since last update,
just look at the first Page of the Threat and try the Proxyfirewall Method, if it dont work for you try the other Methods that are written as alternatives below the Proxyfirewall Method.

Okay for those of you who are using Win7 and cant get ProxyFirewall to work,heres what i did... and mine worked seamlessly after that even though b4 i do that mine didnt work.

OPTIONAL 1:Delete ur HShield folder and then start vindictus to get a new one (just in case the theory of HShield inspecting ur PC is true)

OPTIONAL 2:Close Vindictus after the Update is over and go to the folder and click the HSUpdate.exe thing (well thats exactly what i did,u can try ur luck with Step 3 directly and tell me if it works)

Step 3:Go to your ProxyFirewall install folder and right click your ProxyFirewall.exe and click Properties in the pop-out menu.

Step 4:Go to compatibility tab and tick the run program in compatibility mode then go to the drop-down menu and chose Windows Vista (service Pack 2)

Step 5:In the same tab tick the Run this program as an administrator. then Apply and Ok.

OPTIONAL 6:Delete all the rules related to vindictus from your ProxyFirewall and run the game.

OPTIONAL 7:Whenever you get a message of allow or not just Allow (no Proxy) and go on untill you are at the START GAME

OPTIONAL 8:Make sure u have ur proxy ready and press Start Game,at this point you might get 1 or 2 connection messages, MAKE SURE U SET THEM ALL AS USE PROXY SERVER.

If you are lucky enough you'll b playing :D.
Even though some steps are labeled OPTIONAL I recommend doing all the steps because this is how i did it.
Sorry i was in a hurry :( u can take it modify it and even add pics if u want... well thats ofc if it works.

Warum kommen bei mir nie Anfragen von ProxyFirewall für irgendwelche sachen zum verweigern oder erlauben?
Habs in Vista Sp2 mode und admin. Es startet auch erfolgreich, aber es kommt nie ne anfrage.
Bitte um Hilfe, ob man da was einstellen muss oder so.

Why is there never coming a question to accept or denie a connection from ProxyFirewall, vor something?
I run it in Vista Sp2 mode an admin. It starts succesfully, but there is never a question to accept or denie.
Please help me, do I have to set some options somewhere?

Eisbär, das Problem habe ich auch, einstellen kann man nur das was Ahmed geposted hat, wenn das nicht geht, dann gehts halt nicht ( wie bei mir ^^) dann bleibt dir nur die AOL Methode ^^
