[How to] Play Vindictus outside of NA

to close other programs that you use on your computer is illegal, they perform an action against other programs you use, Proxyfier or ProxyCap or whatever are not their programs so they have no right to close those programs.

many americans have worse connection than we europeans have, and they block us from playing the game, i would say their marketing team is full of idiots, as client i am quite offended, is possible that even if they bring the game to EU i might not play Vindictus anymore, and just go play something else, i left behind quite a solid WoW account with hardcore backgroud, just to get blocked to play Vindictus ... lol, they should be happy their game is raising in popularity, but such approach, blocking players will do just opposite. FO Nexon.

ye , i quite too , vindictus is a shit , very repetitive gameplay (arcade game ) , try with world of tanks , this game rocks !

Well i can understand your point pretty well and neither i understand why they fight so much against the people which connect with a Proxy since Vindictus EU isn't even out yet! (the page is saying coming soon for like 6 months already -.-).

But for now i found a decent way to play again with an as good connection as with Proxifier (Proxyfirewall).

I tried to play with proxycap and it isn't working for me (no idea why and i never liked that proxy program). AOL i don't like because of the lags.

Oh well i wouldn't say the game is *(/$§(/ more the company sucks, i don't really think the gameplay is repeating since all Bosses have some new movies and each month there is at least one update. And you can't really compare World Of tanks with vindictus since both are totally different game types.

When i'm back home i will write a little tutorial for proxyfirewall.

I find Vindictus a very good game from many points of view, i was surprised to see that many of my expectations and ideas about a mmorpg are implemented in Vindictus, remember talking with RL friends and WoW friends about things i dislike in wow and how i would like to be, many of those ideas i see in Vindictus, so i actually see Vindictus as an evolution of the genre ...

Is very difficult to make a MMO not to feel repetitive, also the repetitive feeling come depending on how much you play as hours / day and how often as how many days / week you play, also depends on what you actually like to do in the game. I see vindictus a game designed for players who like action combat, i am not bored about fighting, so having a daily each boat, + few progression dungeons + few hero modes you repeat for certain ES create some landscape diversity...

Anyway the problem is Nexon, it seem that is a crap company, blocking fans from what they like is quite a bad idea, players should react in a more public way so Nexon lose something and learn to respect the player'base ... like really, we are customers, i was planing to buy things for my characters, they throw the door in customer's face, that is ridiculous ...

Yes but , i'm boring of updates each month , cause is the same dungeons and more dungeons , i prefer battle arena mmos , instant action , games that each match is diferent nerver repeat.

I actually like Vindictus because it is something fresh/new, a non-target Action MMORPG, like you mentioned above. So we feel the same about. I'm kinda tired of all this click MMOs where you just run around and click 1 2 3 on your keyboard. And one of the things i like the most of vindictus that you don't need to play like some addict to reach something.

Nexon is indeed the problem, i can understand that they don't want people from outside Europe to play their game but they could at least open the Vindictus EU servers then. I would call ourself illegal costumers since we are not supposed to play there ^^

Actually that's exactly one of the things i like the most, each month there is a new update/Event, there is always something to do in this game.
Well if you prefer such things then vindictus is just not the right game for you i would say.

Und im Bild darunter steht der Proxy schon auf "Allow" und nicht auf "on" oder so, keien Ahnung ich bin voll verwirrt und bekomms net hin :(

Ja ok verstehe also zuerst startest du Vindictus (da ist die .exe noch auf allow) wenn du beim log-in screen bist machst du den Proxy an (Use Proxy Server) und erst dann wenn du eingeloggt bist machst du die .exe wieder auf allow.

So gehts bei mir schon seit stunden ohne Dc oder connection probs.

Es kann passieren, dass Proxyfirewall von der Firewall geblockt wird. Also mein Bruder hatte dieses Problem. Ich persönlich hatte kein einziges Problem. Nur ist Proxyfirewall ein bisschen komplizierter als Proxifier ^^

Okey habs versucht, bei mir wird das Programm nicht erkennt aber ich bekomme immer die Meldung "Disconnected from the Server" wenn ich versuche einzuloggen :/
Der Proxy funzt hab extra nachgeschaut das der auch im Moment Online ist und so.
Und ich habs auch gemacht wie beschrieben
1. Proxy der vindictus.exe auf Allow bis ich Ingame zum Login Screen komme
2. Den Proxy geändert und dann eingeloggt, bzw es probiert :/

Edit: Hmm hab das Programm mal zusaätzlich zur Firewall hinzugefügt ( falls es daran gelegen haben sollte ) aber er disconnected trotzdem weiter, ich glaub ich bleib zwangsweise erstmal bei AOL :/
