You should try reading the data from the original file, not the one you tried to save. You can also check the material name by going into the pk2 and looking for the .bmt that goes with the .ddj (they're in the same folder) of the item you're replacing.

Hey guys. I have some weapons to add my server. I'm converting them from .ski to .obj. But when i do this, the item is losing it's 3d effect. The item should be like this:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

But when i turn around it, i see that the 3d effect is gone.:

And the original structure of item is this:

Can someone help me? I'm doing something wrong at export settings or something like this? Thanks.

And these are my export settings at Blender 2,48 (Why 2.48, cuz .ski import plugin only works at this version.)

Try apply modifiers. If that doesnt work you could also try recalculating the normals (mesh>normals>calculate outside). If that doesnt work I don't know wtf ur doing with that wierd format.

You are using the wrong material name, it's axe_01_06 without the H, that's not a part of the material name, you can check by going to the first character of the material name, going 4 bytes to the left and checking the value at 'Char Dec:' in the bottom. The value you see here is the length of the material.

You should probably import and overwrite the texture aswell. It's probably called axe_01_06.ddj.

Aaaand i have more questions ;
1-) How can i edit dress, i changed turkey dress to another dress what disagned by me :)
2-) i did it like weapon but game closed :P What is the error?

Best bet is to import the srobj of another dress, and copy the vertex groups from the vertices there to the vertices in your own dress at roughly the same position. Then export as srobj and inject into sro.

ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_M_CELL_HAT and ITEM_MALL_AVATAR_M_GOGE_HAT why in stealth state can display properly, the only appeared when showed that the model, can not see the skin?
