Anyone else here get whispers from chinese players? Not like I can understand them... but Im just mindin my own business, and someone will randomly whisper me. Message is all chinese characters, except for a portion of numbers with spaces between em. It happens... a lot, like 9-10 per hour.

Ill upload a screenshot of it when I get home tonight.

and for the few that i get, they are usually asking about where a monster or NPC is or something like that

If it has a lot of numbers, it may be advertising for some gold selling service. I've gotten a few of those. Other than that, simply tell them you don't understand Chinese. I get a lot of PMs daily and often they try to communicate in English.

That'd be my best guess as well.

Uploading screen for confirmation once it finishes patching and I get a PM like that again.

im wondering if its a message regarding using other ppl id numbers to verify a 18+ account.i got one of those today and im hopeing its not a message from a gm. hopefully bans wont follow. i've been able to get logged back in to my account.

hopefully someone can translate to confirm what the message says.

i took those whispers to be gold bots of a sort. it is a different player each time, and always a lv1 character. I set myself to invisible in the buddy list so they couldn't whisper me.
