Need Help Setting Up Aion Server
I have tried several months now to set up a sever. The problem I find is that every guide or video is very outdated and or missing links to files needed. THe ones that advertise or make guides, several newer ones all links for contact are dead or they never reply.
My goal is to set up a Aion server for my youth/young adult group and open it to anyone wanting to join. I was thinking of making at least 2 server 1 for adults only and one for younger.
We have a unique opportunity where Microsoft Azure has donated whatever resources we need. Anyone have a good instruction guide or video for this?Anyone have the skill to set this up, but dont have the servers? Willing to work out a partnership. I would prefer 5.8, but best working one will do.
I have followed several guide for 5.1, but something always wrong when I try to start login and game server, something with communication link failure and connection refused. It's probably something in firewall/security I don't have set right, but any help with this would be great.
2nd goal after getting Aion going is to do a few more games.
Right now I have 2 Empty cloud servers just waiting. From what i have seen as suggested server size, these are a bit over-kill, but I like fast and reliable.
I can resize these to many smaller ones or bigger if needed. Extra Storage or SSD/HDD Disks can be added as needed. Management, support, backup is provided by microsoft and servers are on Availability set group of 3. %99.9 uptime.
