Hello 9D EPVP'ers. It seemed to me that a lot of people were asking about which clan to pick, and characters and such, so I went ahead and made this guide.
My intention in writing this guide is twofold
My first intent was to spark more interesting in 9D, so maybe we can get some more players on 9D Thai
My second intent was to reduce the number of spam posts on the forums, so that more pertinent issues could be addressed.

I. In which I address which clan is best suited for each role
You will find that one of the most common questions asked about 9Dragons is "I am a(n) XXX, which clan is best for me?"
First and foremost, let me begin by saying that what TRULY matters is what clan you like playing as the most. I am in no way trying to detract from your 9Dragons experience by forcing you to play as a certain role, this is just a suggestion from an experienced player.
Okay, here's the list
Warrior - Brotherhood of Thieves
The Brotherhood of Thieves has the most powerful Warrior and Hybrid weapons, but really the clan doesn't make that much of a difference.
Hybrid/Healer - Brotherhood of Thieves/League Of Beggars
Once again, the Axe is a mighty weapon, but a LoB CK Hybrid is a beast, and LoB fist attacks are also very powerful. LoB also gets a +200 HP clan buff.
Nuker - League of Beggars(Recommended)/Shaolin/Brotherhood of Thieves
I have found LoB/Shaolin to be the best nukers, the Shao clan buff also gives them extra CK damage, while the LoB buff gives them a much-needed HP boost. Brotherhood of Thieves make okay nukers too because their clan buff gives a helpful +50 defence.
II. In which I address the pros and cons of each role
Warrior -
Pros:
Simple
Levels decently fast
Not a lot of buffs to train
Is decent at boss hunting
Cons:
Can be outdamaged by other classes at higher levels
Can get rather boring to level at times
Hybrid/Healer -
Pros:
Can grind almost endlessly with self heal
Has all-stat buff
Has the +30 con buff
Very good for boss hunting and gathering money for other characters (like a nuker)
Cons:
Levels slowly at times
Skills are horrible at the beginning
Not as strong or easy as other classes in the beginning
Nuker -
Pros:
Insane damage, even at low levels
Moderately fast leveling speed
Almost never gets hit
Best PvP class
Skills with no recast time can be leveled like CRAZY with 9Disciples
Cons:
Pretty bad at boss hunting
III. In which I address suggested builds for said roles
Here are my suggested builds for each role
Before you get to pick your role at OC1 -
2 Str
1 Dex
1 Con
Or
3 Str
1 Con
Hybrid/Healer
2 Str
1 Dex
1 Con
Warrior (PvE build)
STR = Everything else
ESS = 8 (+minimum needed for relics)
WIS = Enough for Essence Relics
CON = 400 hp for every 10 levels (without buffs)
DEX = Minimum required for weapons +3 to +5 more
Nuker
Ess - Put 20 here and then 1 for each level
Wis - Everything else
These are the builds I use, feel free to use any build you want.

Use 9Disciples. It's amazing and you can train skills INSANELY fast with it.
