9D Server security & anti ddos

Hello everyone, I am relativelly new in the 9Dragons Pserver scene and I would like to ask for your help to the related questions:

1. How do you prevent people from DDoS'ing your server ? I am interested in another way than Hetzner/OVHCloud/Contabo, i would like to know how do you actually put the server behind a proxy or whats the steps to secure against people scanning for your IP and then DDoS'ing it?

2. Is there any way to encrypt data that is being sent from server to client ?

3. Can someone explain what are the steps to securing a server? ( Preferably someone that already had a running successful server )

I wouldn't consider any 9D private server owner a security specialsts. At this point you're probably better off waiting for Claude Mythos public release and use that to setup your security.
