Hello Everyone, I’m trying to play 9 Dragons offline like any other PC game because I’m tired of signing up on servers only to have them shut down and lose all the time I invested playing. I think if I had my own local server I could forget about that problem.
I’ve watched several videos; one in particular helped a lot I managed to spin up a server simply by installing a preconfigured virtual machine. The creator I believe his username is pgaming did everything perfectly. Even when I open the client inside that VM, it shows the server as “on,” so you can click it to launch the game and log in.
However, for some reason probably because it’s a VM with a different network config it fails when loading GameGuard. And when I try running that same client on my local PC, the server doesn’t even show as “on” like it does in the VM. If it did, I’m sure I could connect and play without issue. That’s the only step I’m stuck on, and I’m desperate to fix it. I’ve already opened the ports in my firewall and antivirus, but it still won’t connect. I hope you can help I’d really appreciate it.
This's the error “Failed to connect to an upgrade information server!”
