Merry Christmas everybody, for once I agree with Martin, let's all mind our own servers, people are not very happy with none of them yet, at this moment I think we all gained something from each other.

Perhaps, you should show your wisdom there too. Everyone on here with knowledge as far as i am concerned is acting high strung. Trying to better themselves over others. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. What ever the case, this should now be put to rest.

One thing i do know is, to keep this MMORPG alive, we stop the toxicity floating back to 9D. People still love to play it. We are not setting a good example, if we wish 9D to stay alive. I suggest to all people posting now on the forums, if you wish to see more people playing 9dragons, even though its old, keep your anger at bay and let the hosters of these pservers do their own thing, to allow 9d to stay alive.This year was awful, i am sure we dont want to let new comers see such hatred. Put it this way as a new gamer, would you play with such hatred involved.

BTW Happy Christmas to all of the 9d community. That applies to people i never saw eye to eye also. I don’t hold grudges. This time of year, is for celebration, even though we are all under a lot of pressure, from this pandemic. I do say to all of you guys, stay safe and be careful over the festive season. Hope to hear and see replies from everyone here, from now through to the foreseeable future

Actually, I meant it. I've spent a lot of time to share my knowledge in the past, and these 2k+ posts are not hatred, but quite a lot of them was me answering the questions seriously, and you guys should know that. But if someone doesn't even try to look for the solution, be it, they're not worth getting it easy. Knowledge sharing is important, but I guess I'll take a different approach on this one. I gave away enough pointers. I & Bogdy took a few people to show them the ropes, and by far only a handful of them actually tried to do something more advanced than copy-paste from the text file.

I kinda understood the @'s approach with his tools. The more obvious ones he made open source, while his main tools were either obfuscated or not even released to the community. He was a person that didn't enjoy the fact that only a bunch of Vietnamese people can hack the game and he made it "equal" for everyone. And he said it himself that it was one of his biggest mistakes. Similar things could be said by me (related to binary file structure analysis, even before I had the access to the source code) or probably Plastic, who taught me the basics of RE. While it advanced the content development, the hatred it generated was not worth it.

This year was crazy for a lot of reasons. In my case, it was a new job, my mom & dog died, and even my Christmas time is even busier than it used to. I wish I could've spent more time on development.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss Adek. My thoughts are with you on that. I really hope you are pulling though this difficult period, especially with the festive period. Keep it together bro. I wish you all the very best

My humble opinion about this game a long time ago was and is to use this forum to help eachother out independent of server competition. IF and only IF this was a goodwilling community that worked together, this game would've have thrived even further!
