It is a false positive. It's probably due to the obfuscation of the files that your AV is detecting as malware.

Man, just stop with these type of comments. I mean, with all the respect, your server is still pretty much if not surely dead while on 9dclassic there are a bunch of mofos still playing. Probably the same lurking around NewDawn, but even so..I think commenting on his work is not something you should do as so far NewDawn was very disappointing and just spouting about other servers does not make it any better.

While it's true, you can't literally forget about the past and call something "the cleanest", even though it was well known to be literally the worst at it. IIRC even after their "db cleanup" people still had the decos "bought" via that IM bug. Also, people running with +2 scrolls, Tender Stones, etc., even though they couldn't be farmed or bought by any means - would you literally forget about these issues? There was no wipe after such a fuckup. Nice that Zan got some basics covered after half a year or smth like this, but, heck - it was hell.

I won't even mention me doing my stuff to show Zan how bad it was. People asked him to ban me for my help, and this way my account was deleted as well. And I didn't even use it against them - prolly my whole league from back then can say the same.

So while it's true the New Dawn didn't end up as expected, Bogdy and Kinga are working hard on it to release a brand new client with a lot of fresh content.

Just to sum it up, New Dawn could have failed with the content but didn't mess up the security - the hard way like Classic did.

I understand all this, it's true. 9dclassic owner, GM, whatever he is, he's not very sharp, but somehow manages to have the game running and somehow enjoyable if you just want to level up a bit and try to pk some dudes around. He just wants players, he did not wipe as he would of probably lost all those buthurt people that got things for free that could probably take time to get or even $ involved.

But just mentioning this over and over it's not very productive, the 9dclassic dude got this right and he's not very active in doing so...following his trail might be better for you guys. Sometimes even when you are right you might have to step down from your horse and let people run as the direction might be wrong or shady.

Just saying...regardless of each server state, there is no point to keep throwing knives at anyone. I'd actually like all servers to be different and have their own playerbase, this is actually possible. While NewDawn could bring bored people from RF, 9dclassic might attract players that did not play "since 10 years old" (if I am allowed to quote here).

But, yeah, whatever. I'm not very good at people management myself, I can't say much without saying **** about someone who gets on my nerves with stupid remarks...but I do hope others can as I tend to shut up...mostly.

I'm still a part of the staff, though we have some retarded situation at my workplace, so I'm not working actively on the content. Also, that's more of a Kinga's job at this point. I can't afford to spend my time on the stuff that other can do better than me. That's far from being efficient.

The only reason people stopped playing is because our server was announced as a beta, which it is, classic is a beta too, but not officially.

I respect you and I think you know yourself at the end of the day people will join back when we go live, we decided not to listen as much to criticism and focus on the core issues we had and prepare for the future. In this path, we'll take some criticism for the greater good.

Despite all the **** that was posted, we're still here, we're still providing news on our discord and we're still developing, the only reason I went silent is because I want results more than trashtalk.

Well, we'll probably get into overtime just so the company can cash out as much as they can from their clients, isn't it ironic xD so unfortunately I'm in with this **** till New Year, at least. Also, I'm the only worker on Xmas Eve & New Year's Eve. Purrfect xD

I'm working on Christmas Eve also this year, but my team got off since I usually do the "emergency" work so I told them to take it off since I'm way more suited for this kind of things rather than have them, as long as I'm healthy, things will get better so, just hope for the best while doing your best.
