Hey guys, this days I've been trying to run 9ds on a virtual machine but no success always GG 114 error, I was wondering if someone knew a way to fix this error!

This community is basically dead so be prepared to wait a while for a reply. Your best bet would be contacting 9ds support:

and asking them as a 114 error is so generic it could be almost anything.

114 is the generic error code for the GameMon not starting which is a core process for the games authentication. You could try generic solutions by searching on Google: "gameguard 114 error" and see if any of those resolve the solution.

Yeah, I kinda can see that this is like a desert atm eheh, and thanks for replying, I actually did ask the GM some days ago and they said that they use the Redfox GG so I would to try to change some .vmx files from the VM to probably try and make it work, but i'm not that kind of expert, searched google and found nothing until now ( been 2 weeks ) :/

Well that doesn't make a whole lot of sense as the .vmx file is the configuration file when a virtual machine is created and I don't see how that would help.

Which version of windows are you running a virtual machine off and have you tried a fresh installation on a virtual machine and then installed 9ds again?

imo, that's some ****** support.

Once you have VMWare Tools installed, add these lines to the end of your .vmx file.

Code:

monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = "true"
isolation.tools.getPtrLocation.disable = "TRUE"
isolation.tools.setPtrLocation.disable = "TRUE"
isolation.tools.setVersion.disable = "TRUE"
isolation.tools.getVersion.disable = "TRUE"
monitor_control.disable_directexec = "TRUE"

Then add this .reg file to Windows upon starting up. If it still doesn't work, try it on Windows 7 Ultimate x86.

Well that ended up making me lose internet connection on my virtual machine lol
I managed to get a connection again and still 114 GG error...
