Server recently had a hardware upgrade from 8gb RAM to 24gb RAM, which means reduced lag and increased maximum number of players the server can hold.

Our crew is working on new content. You can still join meanwhile and have some fun in pvp or pve.

I m referencing to content what other ps-servers have right now, its all the same basicly and i m bored playing the same thing. I havent played quite while so yeah those are the things what would bring me back....

Yeah yeah i know only GC has, but as [Arceus] sayd "everyone is working on that" but to me its not enough i d like to some results. My time is precious, i dont want play this game AGAIN with the same content like it has been quite few time, so i ll better wait....

Btw why is icy dungeon and clothes refine so important ?
If server is crowded with all kinds of players - those who help, those who are always loud and calling every1 noob, those who just farm, ... I personaly dont see any need for those 2 contents yet.
There is always something to do on EoD.
So why not try it out for few days, you might start to feel the same way as me

They are not important because you cannot get them... If you were the one having them, the only one having them, your opinion which you publicly express would be quite different, right ?

Content is always important... People need something new to keep on playing a server, expecially with an old game like 9D...

See without wanting to boast or anything but a whole bunch of people in here (me included) could manage to open such a server as elysium, eod etc. with the content they have and with the events they have. I mean seriously, you upgraded NOW to 24GB , the test-server I'm using has allready 32GB and SSD. Paying 60 bucks for it but I can afford it and It's worth it for me.

But HELL NO, i'm not going to open up a server to public If I didn't manage to fix whisper, to login GM Chars and bring new working content as icy dungeon, +13 and up ref, clothe ref etc..
I'm spending hours daily to understand the incomplete source code we have and to find people who want to share the one or another thing and help the community.

In my opinion the only way we can get anywhere is if people who understand things in this section start working together sharing things and giving their contribution . It'd be better those half-way servers would close down and they would all start working together and make something awesome out of it.

It'd be a great step forward if the admins of those servers would stick together and we all, adek,bogdy,soly,sdoch,witek,sheyk,jamie,zeroburner and so on would start a new Project X together and try to build a server which actually fullfills the gamers expectations.

Project X ? Haha, Scotticus was its admin, who is currently working for elysium... Let's rename that to something else xD (unimportant, I know, couldn't hold myself from mentioning that)

Shiek is interested in his own server and I agree with that.

Jamie is mostly out due to real life.

Witek started his "youtube career", so he gave up on 9D too (had the pleasure to work with him, he's a great guy).

Zeroburner already managed to fix 9DServer's whisper, but I think he did everything he could with the resources given, unless new DBs/files arise I don't expect to see him.

So who's left ? Right... Me, you and adek... My C++ knowledge is extremely irrelevant to such a project. Moreover the source is incomplete too. Unless we get the same source peng has it's useless.(already tried and I firmly believe it's not public).

Adek is quite busy too and usually so am I... Dedicating our time to studying/repairing incomplete source is UNLIKELY.

What we need to revive 9D, create the best server out there is so simple:
-all the development/testing tools (you can create maps both client and server sidedly)
-full source code
-client
^All of the above need to be roughly from the same date. I know having a compilable full source code would automaticly mean we get client/dev tools etc, but no source is really full, so I'd prefer even having the .exe dev tools.

What will ensure the server being invested into and being populated?
-Absolutely incorruptible staff (mostly all private servers lack that at the moment), it can be done, just make the GM log files public so everybody sees and ensure that the admin (the one who has control to the DB) is fair
-monthly content updates/pvp balance patches
-some promotional videos
-fair prices in IM

Without those resources and time commitment, it's all just a dream.

Actually, the plugin is working, the problem is that it's working for noesis only, I'd really appreciate it if you could make an import/export plugin for blender.

I really wouldn't mind if you didn't do that since it's probably very time consuming unless 3d important/export script making isn't your daily activity.

@Arceus, what we need to actually make something work is knowledgable people who could eventually code the tools for creating maps,dungeons, importer/exporter, adjusting GM client, etc. Saweet is the ONLY one I can think of who actually was smart enough to do it.
