It worked like a charm for me.
I have the following additional advice:
1. for nukers, be sure to unequip your bracers since each time you use your buffs you'll degrade the bracer's durability. more than once, i've left my bracers on by mistake while training and come back later to find that they've disintegrated.
2. make sure you go to some out of the way location to train. i think if a GM sees you training, they'll log you out.
