Bot help.

Hello guys, I'm a new scripter looking for advice from the best. I"m currently trying to creat a potting, buffing, AoE, loot bot. This is my FIRST project and I"m in dire need of assistance. I'm probably starting off to big. If I can get one area to work properly I would be happy with that.

I"m using SCAR Divi CDE.
This I use MAYN version of game (if it makes a differance)
I only know basics so please help me outs ^^.

aww dang. not many ppl use scar. the ones that did aren't in these forums anymore. haven't seen them in forums in a month and a half.

ouch.... well what do most use? C++? if so then what is the difference and what program do i need?

I use Autoit. Some use C++.

gotta make a plan before you make a bot. like what do you want it to do, how to do it, and things like that. then searching for tutorials would be the next step, i learned my deal of autoit in a couple days. i can link you to all the things that helped for me.

Ok, I've already started looking at tutorials. I do have a plan, I'm just not 100% sure how to execute. I can already see some basics on Autoit that will help me a lot. the only thing is I"m not sure how to get more than one function in a code segment. do you write a different file for each feature then put them into 1 area?

depends on what you're trying to achieve, you could possibly stick every function within a loop, but it might slow down other functions.
