This is a very interesting dilemma. Before I start anything I want to say that: first, I'm not here for flaming and second, I'm sorry for the long post. I admit, I might have some biases consisder I am banned and I'm on a hacking site.

The way I see it is, this game is dying fast and everyone is at fault. I don't think you guys should flame on Illy and Kidz. Don't get me wrong what they did is wrong, but I see it as more of aeria then anything else. I've stood up for aeria before and I will still be. Aeria is just a hosting game company, they just happen to own the rights to host TS2 and other games. They neither create it or "own" the game. They just in away rent it.

Before going into as why I think aeria is mostly at fault. I want to mention why I think this game is dying. This is where Illy and Kidz and their whole group's intelligent can be seen. They've released the easiest dupe hack that can spread like wild fire, and encourage ppl to try it. This hack is traceable, and they make sure to spread it on aeria's forum so the GM's would know of it. GM's knowing of this, make sure to trace ppl's trade log. But here I think lies the problem. They trace trade log so if the items are from your friend(s) who are innocent, then they would ban them as well? Also it seems AGE is getting desperate, as they're banning innocent people in all of this. I know of a few people who are innocent and got banned for no reason. This will create a huge problem for AGE. Most of us don't like to go through long paper work. No one does--it's a free game! Games are meant to be fun and such--if you are tempt ban or perm ban I doubt most of us will take the time to follow up for a ban appeal. So for that Illy and Kidz, I admire your intelligent as to put the gears in motion to kill AGE as a whole, not just TS2. That's right! If you guys only think TS2 is going down then look farther out. Most of us who play TS2 are probably playing aeria's other games. I know I myself do play other aeria's games--you find they have one good game and you migrate and try their other games. Since you already have the ap there, ect.

Now as to why aeria is mostly aeria's fault. To be honest, the truth is it's everyone's fault: The people who released the hack, the people who used the hack, and the GM's themselves. But I feel it's mostly the GM's/aeria. This wouldnt happen if GMAracton didn't try to ride on the banning of revolt for his benefit. Yea aeria needs to set things straight but not that way. That's going with the wind and it'll pisses people off. Also I felt some guilt for testing this out to see what it's like, but after I recieve their letters, I no longer felt the guilt but a smirk at their greediness and stupidity. Their letter addressed me as I'm banned but I'm allow to come back and spend more money on them. This is very greedy and stupid to me. If you want to set things straight that hacking is not allow then act so. If not then don't ride on this for your own benefits. Seeing as how there is no maint, nothing, I'm not even IP banned--just my other accounts are shut down. People are still getting perm dc'ed left and right. Aeria is getting sloppy! And they're starting to ban people on random note. I know quite a few they've p1ssed off in this whole banning issue that have taken their friends along to quit AGE all together. So again, I have to say Illy and Kidz very smart for what you did. I guess this is why you shouldnt upset people when you yourself are not that good.

Way I see it is they will either give out amnesty to everyone, or prepare to fight a losing battle. It seems they have banned like 1/3 to 2/3 of their customers. The left overs are gonna get bored soon--it's already boring before this hack. No one is ever in town active for invasion and such. MOstly afk. Also if they werent too greedy with making all the items ap based--I doubt people will resort to duping. Money is a complicated issue here--since they're out to make money but you can still make money without making things ap based.

Summing up things--aeria is getting sloppy and stupid with their game management. If you don't push people too far they'll spend money instead of cheating. Basic psychology! Too bad they didnt go to school to realize that. Just my two cents.

@D1p5h3t , what can i say u left me with no words...i totaly agree with you. i got banned also but not of this for just trying to speak my proper language, which was not saying bad words or something negative to ppl. Yes it was by filther bypass it was also my noobish fault to talk with my friend in front of everyone when i was banned i got so ****** that day... i woulda say i had wanted to destroy that game 12sky2 i don't know how if it was for sending a worm to thier server or whatesle... i wasn't doing anything bad... to annoy anybody.

Wiz actually posted up before Illy, but that's not really important. If you've figured out the new dupe method already, it can't be anything too difficult. I guess it's time to get to work haha
