I seriously doubt GM's and Dev's scan logs for hack usage, but then again maybe its only aeria whos useless? They could use time distance formular to compare if you can move that far in that amount of time at your speed. Not comparing times. as comparing times would let the player spoof it still

With speed hacks you keep the origional real time and you can just use that in place when the packet gets sent. so they wouldnt use that method.
However they could look at packets being received too fast for things they know happen say every foot step.
But the chances of Mayn having a secured modified server is very slim considering im pretty sure alt 1 would retain rights to the source for their selves selling updates on a subscription base to hosters of the games.
Otherwise someone would be able to leak the server source code and then no profit for alt1. Similary the game would be alot better there would be differences between mayn and alt 1, other than name changes and description changes etc. Like new game features in contract. *not new features to the game but new features for the hoster*
