I just read it on slashdot, Blizzard used a signed integer for gold in WoW, therefore the maximum amount equals to 2^31, which is 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper.

Please keep in mind, that it's easier for a guildbankcharacter to reach that limit, than for a single person

naja ich hab den typen ein wenig "verfolgt" mir seine threads durchgelesen vor bc hatte er 30k gold und hat halt immer zu jeder neuen season massig gold gemacht indem er gems verkauft hat hat halt andauernd nur gehandelt... keine gildenbank

the american dude is someone from Blood Legion - Illidan US, the german one is that one who was already mentioned and it's that jack *** who did so much publicity of it ..
