People all over the world are anxiously waiting for the 2014 League of Legends All-Star event that is taking place from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 11 at Le Zenith Arena. And why wouldn’t they be? Last year in May the event was held in Shanghai and the games were intense. The winning team turned out to be the Korean team and people are excited to find out which team will win this year.
Five teams take part in All-Star, one per region. The regions are North America, Europe, China, South Korea and Southeast Asia. In addition to the main event, there will also be a Skill Competition for each role. The Skill Competition match will conclude when either a enemy turret is destroyed, 100 minions are killed or first blood is scored.
In these All-Star events the five teams compete for the $50,000 winner-take-all prize. Each region's team roster is decided by fan vote. Player Voting begins on Sunday, March 30, so make sure you do not forget to vote for your favorites.
