The short answer is that Silkroad really means more to me than most people simple because of how long I've spent dev'ing on it and all of what I know now and all of what I can do were learned through working with it. I have about 3 years of Silkroad development experience now and just leaving that to start over on another game is not easy since there aren't any games I find myself attracted to like I am with Silkroad (not how Silkroad is poorly ran, but the game itself).
I do need my breaks from Silkroad every now and then, working intensely as I do on this stuff does burn me out and at times I do just want to quit and walkaway. Then I remember loose ends I have and projects I've wanted to do that I've not done yet and I come back. For example, I knew my PK2 api had bugs in it but it's worked fine for a couple of years and only recently broke on the CSRO test server. So, I couldn't as a programmer just leave the PK2 api buggy and not working so I updated it.
Likewise for other projects like my new generic loader, an idea I've not really thought of before but something I felt I could make a reality and I did. For me, I can say I can program whatever I want, but unless I actually do it and see it done and working, I'm not sastified by with what I "can do", only with what I "actually do".
I also had another idea of something that would be useful in relation to this thread, but I don't think I'd actually implement it myself. I would make a post about it so someone like Rev6 could implement it or someone with a lot of time on their hands that was willing to put in the work and possibly benefit from it as it's pretty useful I think.

You are also leaving out "gwgt4.joymax.com"! However, as InvincibleNoOB mentioned, I'd not suggest logging into .26/.27 still since they were unmapped from the gwgt addresses! I posted in another thread I doubt they would ban you from using those servers, but who knows why they are still up and allowing connections (aside from the fact perhaps DNS reasons)
