How to ?? - Fishing Quest

Sure hope you can help. I have caught 5 Crucian Carp and I am trying to end this quest. I previously "sold" 5 Crucian Carp to a fisherman, but that did not end the quest. I also tried giving the Carp to a fisherman (like you would give something to the blacksmith) and I get a message that he can only upgrade fishing poles. So how the heck do I give the fisherman his fish???

Sure can use some help with this, fishing quest has been around way too long....................

is "Crucian Carp" the right fish for the Quest? I play the German Version and needed "Zander". I tried to translate it and found many words for "Zander"

Wrong ist to sell it to fisherman, you must kill the fish - right mouseklick on the fish - and bring 5 dead fishes of the right kind to the fisherman.
In the dialog with him should be a line with the Quest name - use this.
Don't use the shop.

no no u must right click on them then when u have 5 DEAD crucian carp to the fisherman then ask him about a fishing contest

Okay I have right clicked on them and they paled, but still can't give them to the fisherman. Though I was able to stack them into one inventory square. And one disappeared. Any more ideas?
