[Request] Anti-Crash.

I speak for all of EU, please help us!

Recently there have been reports of bots or automated people running around and crash people,
how they do this is beyond my knowledge, blacklisting used to help but not anymore.

So please, we of Mabinogi Europe are asking for a helping hand. :s

Try using some of the anti-crash mods that are in the other section. I don't know if they would work for EU, but they worked for us when people went around crashing people.

Is this the correct one, and if yes, does this site have guides on how to set up Mabipake so it works? (because he doesn't explain it )

PS: The crashing bots have been standing in several place, crashing people, for almost 5 hours straight now.

Give it a try. There was probably a guide I guess. But as of now, good luck on finding someone to help you get pake to work. Most people here aren't that nice

extract the files into your mabinogi directory. the client and the HSfolder might get updated once in a while so if there was a maintanience and/or an update. you gonna have to modify the client and extract the hshield only. u can find the tutorial for update the client and the hack/bot section.

HSfolder is from HeavenlyHero's HSupdate Skip Guide Thread
and the oh the folder are from Trollintou's Working Mabinogi Pake thread. it has AntiCrash.dll in it already.
almost every dll in the mod folder was removed except what was needed. i think.

Well, so far i'd like to say thanks for trying to help everyone.

But I the method posted above, after countless tries and restarts, i still get no result, and often can't even start mabinogi.

Here is what gets copies to my clipboard after crashin (Crashlog i assume), I'm hoping it might be of help to figure out whatever this person is doing.

That's the motion crash. My Anticrash patches that.

But two things. One: Since it was build for NA someone will have to recompile the mod_AntiCrash ini file to work for EU.

Second. You need to have MabiPake working on EU, and as far as I know there's no working version for EU atm.

From what I recall, the crashing only happens in Dunbarton square (meaning you can still go around the square itself and be safe etc)

People are just QQing because they can't feed their ego while AFKing in Dunbarton.

I believe there are people who have it working for EU, unfortunately i think it's the crashers themselves who have this version, and probably refuse to give it to us.

Friendslist has been dead all day, people are starting to give up, moderators sent reports to Nexon, being ignored.

I guess Nexon EU just gave up on Mabinogi EU as well :s

@ZeoRoach: They are trying to spread into Filia and Vales, but didn't last long there. And during Auction times there's a crasher standing near Cliona.

Neither are there any mobs in Qilla and some other areas, Fleta doesn't appear either, it's like the one doing this is someone from inside Nexon.
