[Question] Concerning New Cronus.

I added new cronus to my server , i deleted all npcs and dyna npcs i wanna re add them fresh. But i encountered a little problem , certain areas i try walking , it makes my char bounce back like theres a wall there or something.
Now like i said , theres no npcs in cq_dynanpc or Cq_Npc.

looks like you need to adjust your region settings your mapobject or you got a effect for a mapobject that isnt there anymore .... looking at that picture what was there in the other map?

I ran into same problem, but Ill take look files and see what needs changed and tookin out, Thanks idle didnt think bout those

Download that, add it to your client, should fix it i think, let me know if it works

Make a back up of your old files, just in the off chance it dosnt

Also note, im using there Christmas version of cronus because it looks way better even if it isnt christmas, atleast its xmas every day on DoD

Ok so what stedabest321 sent me , didnt solve the issue , map stayed exactly the same, as for the map effects? where would i approach looking into ?

did you edit gamemap.ini - UNDER CLINET + SERVER side ???? as well on both sides updated dmaps etc ???
I can bet its your issue ...

no sir my gamemap.ini is not updated in my db , i will check it when i get home im out currently

Thats how i fixed the one for near sodar, Missing stuff from around sodar so i added it in

though if you havnt edited the server sided souls right lmao thats one of the first things i would of done to be honest, never forget to edit the server side gamemap!!!!

map.ini mapmagicitem.ini ini/tme/yourmapid.tme region.ini gamemap.ini scene.ini weather.ini gamemap.ini actionmap3deffect.ini ani/yourmap.ani

^ all these files and more can have something in them that could cause that
and of course the dmap files but they are too big to bother with.
i would look in the region.ini scene.ini map.ini actionmap3deffect.ini and mapmagicitem.ini first
search for anything pertaining to your old map and edit remove or replace it with the items from your new map
(maybe in your case compare the public ones to yours and see what is different)
and like soulnecturn said lol you should make sure ur server and client are running the same files
