I set this server up with no problems.. I will explain how to run a test server for you to mess with on your own pc without using VMWare. This is the easiest way to do it on windows XP.
1.)Setup a "Loopback" adapter
2.)After you create your loopback adapter go to network connections you should see it there, right click on it and go to properties. Use the current ip located in silkbotters realease in the data.pak. "192.168.5.7" for your adapter ip, and of course set your subnet mask "255.0.0.0".
3.)In the server files in the config file set all your ip's to "192.168.5.7" and of course set your database user and pass. including webman use the same ip and change the name UrAnus to whatever you want for your server name.
4.)After you do all of that.. load up the server in this order. dbmon, cast server, login server, message server, session server, then finally your dekaron server. After the dekaron server loads everything into place launch your webman, enter the ip "192.168.5.7" then tick the box directly next to it which should have the red colored text next to it.
5.)Go to your client folder and launch the game, if all done correctly you will see your server in the list. click highlight your server name and click the top far left button to start the game.
This is not the best guide but i am telling the easiet way to get this server going without having to hex anything for personal use of the game. If you have windows XP and have followed these steps you should be playing on your own server.
