In the first steps of our new aggressive stance against hackers we have issued 6000+ account suspensions today.
We have implemented new detection processes capable of tracking down hack usage and through these new techniques we have been able to determine some 6000+ accounts who have used hacking programs in recent history.
We have suspended these accounts to help keep the integrity high of our game. As always, we will continue to check hack reports and still rely on a large portion of our legitimate community to help keep the game as clean as possible of these malicious users.
We will be working on further detection techniques and automatic bans and will continue to check replays and reports submitted through our support site
as well as our forum account [CF]Reports.
Please continue to send us information and hack reports. And please be patient with us as we take this aggressive stance towards hackers and work towards improving the quality of the game and its users.
Thanks for your continued patience and enjoyment of Cross Fire while we continue to improve the game for you!
*Updated*
To update some information for you guys.
We can't fully disclose the details of the policy, the bans/suspensions or our detection methods.
Just trust that we are working on ways to improve the game. We realize that getting rid of the hacks 100% is close to impossible, however we are doing as much as we can to discourage people from hacking within our game.
This is just the first step. We have some other measures to help specifically against the current major public hack coming very soon. So just stick with us because we haven't stopped!
*Update 2*
Z8Games is not responsible for actions taken on an account.
If someone was using the account other than the original owner on any computer then it is possible the account was flagged. We do not take hacking lightly and it is the players responsibility to ensure that no one else uses the account and that they themselves do not use a hacking program.
We can't be held at fault if your account becomes under investigation or suspended or banned based on actions on your account that weren't necessarily yours.
