I'm using a proxy address for a wireless connection using USB Modem.

443 is SSL/TLS protected, conquer doesnt use port 443, and i doubt it will ever work through a HTTP proxy. You would need to get a direct connection out to use conquer.
It's only for Firefox, it dosen't affect any other program.

443 is the standard https protocol port as apposed to the standard http protocol which is 80 or where a http proxy is used mainly 8080.
Firefox has nothing to do with this, the http proxy hes going through probably restricts all internet access appart from access through port 443, so they wont for example be able to connect to the auth server on port 9958/9960 or the game servers on port 5810 -5816.

Conquer 2.0 works but i'm not playing co2.0 any more i'm playing crazyco and it don't connect
