New Private Servers Not Working.

Connecting to that IP failed. Is it up now? Also, no source? Are you trying to connect to someone else's server?

Anyways, im pretty sure it must of gone down atm since the site isnt loading, but it was up perfectly fine when i posted this topic as i was chatting too some of the people playing it, im downloading a client i can use with the albetros source, hopefully that will help more.

exact same thing happens as i described, open up both servers (game and login) Get no errors till i try to log in, client closes itself without an error, LoaderSet in client is set too the ip above, and Config of albetros is set with the configurationcreator that comes included, with the same ip and such.

Stringatabase.Pass = 1234567
Stringatabase.Name = chronic
String:Game.IP = 5.14.29.217

^ my config for albetros servers, with the pw changed xD

Troyco is up now btw so you can try pinging that again

Same result for that other IP. Also, any errors in the server you're running?

no errors whatsoever, the game server gave the normal smap errors but other then that, nothing

Interesting. Does this happen with the official version of Conquer as well?

official conquer works perfectly, older private servers (IE: shadowco) work perfectly, its just the newer ones that dont.

Tried on a different computer? It looks like for whatever reason the newer clients don't want to run for you [once modified?]

hm k, i find it weird, this comp has never had any problems like this before, CO usually runs quite well, i have no idea why mine is doing what it is

Still sounds like the computer is denying the client permission to connect to the server for some reason.

but i dont get why it differentiates real conquer from the private servers enough too block one and not the other, but still allow older private servers though, its just weird
