Casted Skill name Above Monster names

Well As seen in Thread name When bosses Cast spell on sm1 the casted spell name appears over boss name so the question is ..Is it Attack subtype ? or packet ?

2nd question : The Targeted monsters in Cloud saint jar Are alawys appears to be Pheasent ..and the Kill Count is set to be smthing like that ..... So how can i make this Work ...or it needs packet too

pro4never answered your first question in that post.

To your second question, the CloudSaint's jar can be its own packet, but it's basically an iteminfo packet or something. I dunno the specifics, since I don't use a patch that actually had the quest.

You should treat your packet handler to print any unknown attack types to the console screen.

Once you have done that, login to the game and hover your mouse over the jar and switch back to the console... it'll tell you what to do )

I could simply copy paste it for you but i will not... figure it out your self

Anyone know if anything like the jars were implemented in 4274? And if not, what patch were they introduced in? I know for sure their files do NOT exist in the 4274 client, so I'll probably just handle it without a jar (i.e. telling them once they've killed the required amount of monsters.)

Nvm dude u have alawys been active and i like that But there is smthing weird i gotta say ... i've read alot of your posts u understand Reverse Engering and u understand how it goes .. so y do u work on old patches ?? seems to me that u can upgrade to Higher patch so **** easily

Well, I only work on Conquer servers for me and my friends basically, and all of us miss Co1 (We started playing in 2003) I thought about doing a newer patch and just removing certain features, but some of the client edits aren't my cuppa tea either.

new patch != skills

Large percentage of people dislike newer patches. Personally I only feel newer clients are worth using if you plan to re-work most aspects of the game. Everything potency and later is **** imo.

Seconded. Things went downhill with Potency (Battle Power), then Ninjas, then Talismans, then Monks, etc... If only TQ had corrected their original problems, instead of just releasing more **** to cover up their mistakes.

Do u think TQ care about Making Co Much Entertained to Players ..Hell No all they want to milk Every single Player to get cashes and they simply cant do that except by adding New ***** .. As Fan , Tower They Made server much worse then they came by Monk which i Found it not bad Char .. And it became Worst Ever by releasing Pirate which was and still completely useless Char ...All im looking for in my Pserver is Making The most Entertainment for Players As i missed it too which led me to sell my gears and Quit it forever and im not planing to return

Hi, Im trying out Spanish Conquer and im turning the client sided stuff english but im having trouble with monster names could someone give me a hint or something what file controls the monster names. I have tried useing english conquer monster.dat but it didnt seem to be the solution.
