Effect Removal Still Possible?

I've been trying to remove the SDG, Bless, Nobility Ranking effects.. I know they switched to the .dbc so it's a little different. But you would think deleting the files for the corresponding effects would work. But it doesn't.. Any help?

I've tried to use DBC converters to edit the 3DEffect.dbc but.. it always changed stuff I don't want to be changed, and doesnt change the stuff I need changed lol.

Dude u dont need Dbc Files Editing or so u only have to Delete the Effects Which Are located in Client / C3 / Effects / And There u will find the folder which contains the effects and once u Delete these Files the Effect wont be Existed ...DBC Are just effect Loaders (in this case Correct me if iam wrong)

well the effect is already coded in WDF package
so he must use alpha edits to make the effect black
then tada the effect is gone

I was going to say, I have deleted the effects, but they are still showing. For example c3/effect/dragonhate/. I've tried deleting the full folder, didn't work, tried just deleting the .dds files, didnt work. Ill try to edit them like 2slam said.
